I didn't read through the reviews when I purchased this, it was more of an impulse buy when at the store. When I gave it a try cutting through pavers I thought it was defective, as the new 2.0 amp batteries I had were both dead after very very limited use. I picked up a 4.0 amp P108 battery and this grinder is AWESOME. I've made plenty of cuts without issue. As with any grinder don't try and force it to work faster than it should by applying excess pressure as that will shorten battery use time and cause it to get hot.
On a side note: Wear Goggles when using, don't be a Cowboy. At first I wore safety glasses and still managed to get a small but quite painful piece of stone in my eye. Goggles are a must.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stick13 My first cordless 4.5 inch grinder
I use corded 4 inch grinders at work for the last 25 years.
This unit seems a bit heavy but worked very well. I had a padlock
rusted shut after 8 years on a deer ladder stand & needed to cut it off.
Worked perfect & I did not notice any gyro effect that I noticed in a cheap corded
4 inch grinder my dad bought for the cabin. Will wait and see for durability.

Because I already have more than 1, 18 volt batteries, I had decided to buy this angle grinder plus 4.5 inches cut off disc metal cutter for just under, 3 bucks. My use; I had cut old style steel garage can in 5 pieces, that really melt through just like butter. Within' 10 minutes, I was done on only half of 4Ah. battery as the motor and gear was hot. I was pretty surprised this tool had hardly bogged down. I say; this grinder has put out nearly half of horse-power for half of wattage than half of horse-power than 117 volt plug in devices. For just under, 40 bucks, I'm very impressed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cybercapri Excellent Value for an Excellent Price
If you have light work to do this item is for you. It works well but is a bit slower than other Cordless Grinders.
The Price is right for what you get. There are far more benefits over other grinders. The wrench being hidden in the handle is a very nice touch; more vendors should do this. The lock is easy to use to change wheels.
It would be nice if it was a paddle switch but it is what it is. I can not say anything bad about it thus far, it seems to be very well made.
If I had to say something bad, honestly the lime green is not a color I would choose, it just seems wimpy or something and believe me the color has ZERO IMPACT on performance. I just don't care for Pastel or lighter colors personally. Other than color this is a great tool for the money.
