I use these in my RYOBI STRING TRIMMER and they work great. My lawn is about one acre and Two charged batteries will do the entire lawn. At 4 amps these are the longest lasting 18 volt batteries that RYOBI sells. At two for $100 they are the best deal you can get.
They are much better than what came with the RYOBI Trimmer.

This 2 pack [ P-108 ] 18 volt lithium battery will give you longer run time than the other batteries and has a gauge to check remaining power level. This is an excellent buy at 2 for $99. I mow several lawns and use these batteries in both the string trimmer and the blower and get great run time. The P104 is the old battery that the P108 in the 2 pack has replaced.

It is not the same as the P104, but it does replace the P104. This is the lithium version which provides much longer use. It also has almost full power until it is total discharged. This is the only battery I buy for all of Ryobi tools.

Yes, all the 18 volt Ryobi One Plus batteries will operate all the 18 volt One Plus tools. The big difference between battery models is the battery capacity. Generally the bigger batteries will last longer in tools than the smaller and how long the batteries last is tool dependent as some tools need more energy to perform the task. Hope this helps.

These are higher capacity but work with all of the same tools as the P104 and P107. Individually these are P108, top of the line. For $99, if you have invested in Ryobi One+ tools, this is a great deal. They give a lot of run time. To the best of my knowledge they do not fit other brands of tools.

Also, I have noticed the model numbers are all over the place for these things, so look at the specs for them. A slim battery I have model P103 is 24Wh. A double stack with power meter model P108 is 72Wh.... 72 / 18 = 4 Ah...
So currently if you want two of the big batteries with power meter the model is, for now, P122...
The P107 is the smaller 24Wh battery with power meter.
I would run the big batteries in that weed eater: model P122 two for $99

You certainly can, as long as they are 18v tools. I started out with the "Blue" tool set and added many more. Now I use the Lithium batteries exclusively. The yard tools really benefit from the extra capacity. One difference is that the Lithiums go pretty much full strength until they stop suddenly. The old blue nicads would go for a while and then slowly run down and stop.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greatest improvement for cordless tools ever The Ryobi ONE+ High Capacity Lithium+ Batteries have made all of my one+ tools equal to my 110 volt tools. As you can see in my pictures I have a lot of one+ tools. I do a lot of volunteer work on our member owned golf course. These new batteries have made my generator unnecessary for my work at the golf course except to use a chainsaw. As soon as I get the one+ chainsaw my generator is on the way out. Thanks for the 4 amp hour batteries they have really increased the abilities of all my one+ tools. August 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great batter capacity! I have had these batteries for over a month now and have used these to power my drill, impact driver, and leaf blower. I was very impressed with the run time on my leaf blower. I use to not be able to blow my whole driveway on one lithium-ion battery, but now I can clean the drive way and both sidewalks with the capacity meter still showing half a battery. These batteries seem to really let tools run full out. I wish you could buy a battery to usb converter or the batteries had a usb port built in. Occasionally outside or during power outages I end up using my Ryobi radio to charge my phone. I recently used the new 4ah batteries with my reciprocating saw to help remove old rotted out deck boards, had no problem cutting through nails. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY I purchased this product to extend my work time thanking if I have 4 batteries then I can wood work all day and this has exceeded my expiations and I can work all day with just one battery and have the three on stand by. will defiantly buy more when I expand my collection. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These are great with even more capacity than the One+ regular Lithium of the same size. Buy them online and get 2 for the price of one in the store. Generally, you will qualify for free shipping on your order. I use my Ryobi tools more often than their gas operated counterparts just for the convenience. Now that I have extra batteries, the charge doesn't run out before the job does. October 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WASTE OF MONEY I bought a pack of these batteries and one of them quit working after a very few uses. It will no longer charge. I called about the warranty for it and I was told I need my purchase receipt. I do not save recepts for everything I purchase, so for me it was a waste of money buying a worthless battery. I will never buy aother Ryobi product and will not reccomend them. October 18, 2016
