With the smaller lithium with the meter, i got exactly 5.5 hrs on the slow speed. So the higher capacity battery will run longer, maybe 10 hrs on slow speed.

Depends on the battery you use. I have the high capacity LithIon+ and if the fuel gauge on the battery is at all accurate, the run time should be well over 8 hours on low. This is an estimation though as I have not just run it from a full charge and timed it.

What I can tell you is that I used the fan on the slower setting with a fully charged Ryobi One + High capacity Li-Ion for 6 hours and it was still going strong when I shut it off. Run time will be less depending on the battery capacity and I suggest using the Li-Ion batteries instead of the NI-Cad simply because they will run the fan at full capacity instead of gradually fading like a Ni-Cad battery will do,. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Portable Fan I use this fan at work and in the car at break time to keep cool. It is a good personal fan only. The batteries last for about 2 hours running non stop. I keep 2 batteries charged daily. Light weight and small enough to carry in a duffle bag. I purchased this fan online. A week later I went to Home Depot and purchase on sale a double pack 18 volt batteries and a battery charger that has 6 charging slots (I only use 3 lol) for $100. Great deal. (Father's day special) I forgot to mention that this fan also runs by plugging an extension cord to it. (I haven't used this feature.) August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very nice fan I bought this fan to help keep my dog cool at agility trials. It works great and is quiet a very good investment September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this fan This is a small but powerful fan. It has been a life saver for this extremely hot summer. September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked but returned Bought to take to son's travel baseball games to help keep baby cool. Fan worked fine but did not put out enough air. I bought based on reviews but they didn't have a working model in stores. I should've asked prior to purchasing. Returned item. Bottom line: fan does work just didnt move enough air for my application, try in store first before purchasing September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Happy With These! I was worried that these wouldn't be that powerful, but pleasantly surprised! Picked up one to try and went back for second one later that day. Very strong for its size on high. I'm using the high-capacity batteries on both and get about 7-8 hours on high (about 2 hours for each LED on battery). When I switch to low, it's about 4 hours each LED. I haven't tested low the whole time, usually I have it on high and when its cooled, have switched to low on the last 1-2 LEDs. But I'm pretty sure you would get about 14-16 hours on low easy with this battery. I LOVE THE HANGING OPTIONS! Several ways to hang in our camper van. All in all, terrific fans that feel light-weight but durable. July 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Most used tool. Love this thing. Did not expect it to be so useful. Little fan goes anywhere and it runs on low for about 9 hours on 1, 18v battery. I've only briefly run it on high setting and it puts out more air than I've needed so far, so low setting works best for my purposes. I've dropped it a few times, once from about 8 foot drop. Not a scratch on it. Runs quiet and pushes air. What more could one want from a fan. It's a great little addition. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly we were looking for Best purchase Ive made in a long time. We have other Ryobi products and had two batteries already. We used this for a soccer tournament in 90+ degree weather. We charged both batteries and each lasted on high at least 4 hours. We used it for the team during the games and then the parents between games. Everyone loved it. You could sit a few feet away with it on high and feel a cool breeze. We were even able to get it to hang from the canopy. I'll be buying a 2nd one. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dog fan It cools my dog well it does not come with a battery or electric cord September 6, 2016
