It was on my list as a Christmas gift after I had read the reviews,. I'm not disappointed! Used it yesterday to fix my trailer, then loosened 20 lugs on my truck, motorhome and car with no problems. It still has power and was not a fully charged battery when I tried it, might have to sell my breaker bars.

I bought this impact wrench based on the reviews on here. The store with the upside down red triangle had some good sales on, but I have come undone before when I bought a battery powered impact wrench, so I wanted to make sure I got one which could definitely do the lug nuts on my wheels. I bought the impact wrench and then because it had no battery or charger I bought the drill/circular saw/torch combo pack which was $99 so for $250 taxes in I got the impact wrench, drill, saw and torch complete with a battery and charger. Pretty good value to me! When I got back I put the battery on the impact wrench as I thought it might come with a bit of juice in it but it didn't manage to undo the lug nuts. So I stuck it on charge and sure enough once it had enough battery it managed to undo the lug nuts with little bother. I tend to torque my lug nuts to 130lbs and the impact wrench took literally 2-3 seconds to free them up and then they spun right off. For a battery powered impact wrench and a reasonably priced one at that, so far I'm very happy with it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by None Bargain if you already have One+ batteries and charger!!!!
90 lb/ft lug nuts on the car took 1 second and 150 lb/ft lugnuts on the new F150 took 2-3 seconds.
Already own some One+ stuff from over the last 10 years and figured for $100 I would return it if it did not do what I needed.
More compact in my hand than I expected too - not much bigger than their 1/4 impact driver! Just heavier due to the bigger hammer in the nose.
Already better than I expected and a cheap way to dip my toe in the water about wanting cordless and electric to replace needing a big new air compressor in my home shop.
Very satisfied with my new purchase - hopefully it holds up to hobbyist automotive use.

I had seen some reviews saying that this impact would not remove even 55 ft lb torqued lug nuts. I tested it at the store and felt it would do the job. I got it home and CHARGED the battery, after which I tried it on my Jeep, I keep the steel wheels on my Jeep torqued to 110 ft lbs (with a torque wrench), and it took all four of them off without any hesitation at all. I rotated all 4 tires ( had to loosen and then retorque, torque was too high), then took the wheels off of my wife's Honda to change the brakes, removed and reinstalled all 4 tires without any hesitation at all. That makes a total of 8 tires removed and replaced on one charge and no problems at all with the amount of torque

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by altaskier Great for Lug Nuts
Works well on all the cars in my household for removal of lug nuts on wheels. Apparently performs as well as an air driven tool with less hassle. Batteries usable with a large set of other Ryobi tools which is great. Be sure to use impact tool compatible sockets. Have owned tool for at least 6 months. Looks like what I purchased is an earlier version of the tool than current on offer for sale on the homedepot.com website so your results may vary.

It is hard for me being a disable person to change tires of my wife's SUV. When I bought this with some dough, the sales rep told me if does not work to returned it. I use a p108 battery and it did the job for me. I rotate all 4 tires of both of my vehicles with one battery. I will not know what to do with my favorite tool.

Ultimately the decision to buy this was the fact I already own Ryobi power tools where the batteries are interchangeable with each other. By the way I replaced all my Nickel batteries with Lithium ones. This makes a HUGE difference in performance and battery life.
After the first time I used it, I had to look and make sure that it was an actual Ryobi tool that I was holding in my hand after I broke loose a lower strut bolt on my F-150 that requires over 400 ft-lbs of torque to remove. It took about 5 seconds but it came off. As for the lug nuts that require 150 ft-lbs, they zipped off almost instantly.
I used to be ashamed to tell my friends that I owned Ryobi tools but not anymore. Especially since I work on all of their vehicles and I whip this baby out.

This works great. It took off the big nut that holds on the wheel hub on my 91 jeep I tryed with a braker bar first with no luck. It's been 3 years and still works good be careful not to over tighten.
