Customer Questions & Answers

You advertise the batteries as a two pack but the price is shown as $99 each. Is that $99 for the two pack or $99 for each battery???

confusing pricing
Asked by: banjogeorge
I got the twin pack for $99, meaning each twin pack is $99. For me it is a very good deal. Hopefully you already have the charger that came with your tool.

More powerful than the previous P103 model, lighter than the full size battery (P108, or previous P104). And 2 for $69 is a great price, for however long it lasts. If you have Ryobi 18v tools, I recommend you snag a couple of these while the getting is good. Overall, I've had my various Ryobi 18v One+ tools for something like 8 or 10 years and have been very satisfied with most of them, so I was happy to get a couple more lighter batteries for a good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Ryobi I have had the circular saw, drill, Sawzall, flashlight combo for almost a year now, I use most of it often, I don't know how I've lived without it. All I've had this far is the batteries that came with it, until I bought these batteries. They seem much stronger, and they definitely lay longer. I've read some of the reviews about people having trouble with short battery life, I haven't had a single problem. I used the circular saw to cut all the wood for a speaker box for 2 10" subwoofers with only one battery, and it still had plenty of life left in it. I would recommend these and any of the other Ryobi products I have bought.

Over the many years of use, some of the original batteries have failed after hundreds of recharges and many hundreds of hours of use per battery. These two additional batteries now allow me to have freshly charged batteries waiting during my home/yard projects.

Unfortunately, I have all the Ryobi tools which requires me to buy the ryobi batteries. While I like the tools, the batteries never meet their run time and then they don't last long where they die and no longer accept a charge. I am almost at the point to dispose of all the tools and switch to a different brand.

This battery features a lit scale that indicates the amount of charge remaining. It is very light, so it is less tiring to use. It fits the Ryobi family of tools I already have such as: drill, circular saw, sawsall, hedge trimmer.

The reason for a four star review is that the battery that came with the tool went bad after 6 months of light use. I hope these last longer.

These are the compact style Li-ion batteries, but they have double capacity to the P102/P170 compact Li-ion batteries, and they have the very handy charge meter built-in so you can tell how much charge they have left. They're light-years ahead of the old NiCd P100/P101 batteries - way lighter, drive a tool longer, hold a charge way longer, last way longer. I'm surprised they're still carrying the NiCd batteries, I wouldn't buy one. The bigger P108/P122 batteries are better for higher current tools like the circular saw, but the P107/P109 batteries are great for just about everything else - drills, impact drives, multi-tools. The lighter weight makes it easier to use tools such as an impact driver, drill or roto-zip. Generally they'll last for a day or two's worth of work in a drill or impact driver when I'm working on a project, unless it's more intensive like deck-building driving deck screws one after the other. I have a pair of P108/P122 batteries, 3 of these P107/P109, one P102, and a P125 6-port charger. These P107/P109's are my go-to battery, except as mentioned for the circular saw or for when I need a longer time between charges.
