Yes. The P128 charger is an intelligent charger and in some combo packaging actually comes with a P106 battery. In my experience with it, it will charge a P106 in about 25-30mins.

Hi Bud,
NO, you can not use the old charger to charge the new battery, two different technologies and are not compatible. The New charger, however, is backwards compatible to charge older batteries as you already know. It is easy for the newer charger to charge the older battery because the Ni-cad Battery is less technical than the circuit required to charge the New ION Battery. I hope this helps....

They'll advertise 50Hz compatibility, but that's both input and output. A converter that converts 220VAC 50Hz to 110VAC 60Hz costs about $150. One final concern, it must be able to handle the number of watts that this uses. I don't know what that number is for this charger, but I'm guessing it's relatively small. Read Less

The unit is currently 110V but with an adapter it can run on 220V. There is no switch on the back like some appliances have so this is standard 110V. The 220V adapters are reasonable priced and will allow this, or most any 110V unit work with 220V. I hope this helps....

Not sure that you can, online, but what you can do is print your receipt and take it into the service desk and show your Military ID, I am sure they will issue you a refund for the difference.
Just make sure to bring in the same credit card as you used online or they may only issue you a store credit. Also I think you have 90 days to submit this too, but with anything else the sooner the better.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Backwards Compatible! I was happy to find that this charger and battery works with my old "Blue" drill and accessories. I was pretty sure that I would need to buy new to upgrade to Li-Ion but not the case. The only downside is that the drill feels less balanced with the light battery but not a big deal as it is much lighter. April 15, 2016
