ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Outdoor Combo Kit (2-Tool) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 104.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for light to medium duty jobs I bought this trimmer/blower combo kit about 3 years ago for use around the house. I love it. For about 95% of my needs, I use my cordless trimmer and blower as compared to my gas operated trimmer and blower. It is so much more convenient to slap in a fresh battery and get to work than getting out my gas operated trimmer/blower. Also, my wife would never consider using either my gas trimmer or blower but she has no problem picking up and using the cordless ones. They are lighter, quieter, and not as powerful (which is a plus for her). I use the cordless trimmer/blower about 3-4 times per week. I now use my gas trimmer (mainly for the power head with attachments), about once or twice a summer. I have not used my gas blower since I got this kit. If you really need more power, or extended run times, than get the gas trimmer/blowers. However, to my surprise, these cordless trimmers/blowers have almost completely replaced my gas operated tools. In everyday light to medium duty use, I only use the cordless trimmer/blower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good combo set Good combo set. Trimmer: replace the single string with the Ryobi double sided, rigid trimmer blades. Blower: decent for blowing out gutters amd patio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good value I was shopping for an additional ryobi battery - you can never have too many - and came across this combo set. Pricing things out separately (battery itself goes for $60) it seemed like a good deal. Wasn't sure what to expect but so far I've been impressed with the trimmer and blower. They work great for smaller city type lots and the convenience of not having to deal with our old gas trimmer is nice. Even the wife & kids enjoy using it. It does not have a whole lot of length adjustment however it was comfortable for a 6 foot me to use and not feel hunched over. Very light weight and the adjustable head angle is rather slick for getting the right angle trimming grass under the bushes. Edger function works good too, not as much power as a gas to cut through really thick stuff but works well. Blower works decent, nowhere near the power of a corded or gas unit but I was impressed. Again the convenience of just grabbing a battery and go is great. Also works as a good "industrial duster" for my shop when I feel like blowing the dust off things and don'the feel like listening to the air compressor. If you're looking at this set, you most likely already have some ryobi tools and batteries. If not, I highly recommend purchasing at least one second battery. We maintain a 1/4 acre city lot and I have to cycle through the included and a couple of my small batteries - like the one's that come with the drill combo. Overall a good value for what you get, especially if you're looking for an additional charger & battery to compliment your other ryobi tools.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from for very very light use. The trimmer is decent but the blower is useless. They seemed to work better with my lithium PLUS batteries. Returned it same day. Guess its ok for very very light use. Other ryobi tools work great but these missed the mark.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from $99 deal for $200 I have a large horseshoe driveway. Water runs down the street in front of our house, bringing with it the leftover stones thrown down for ice during the winter. I usually use my Toro blower but it requires shlepping a long heavy duty extension cord around the yard and plugging and unplugging it to cover the entire driveway. I bought this combo to see if I could cut the cord, and to enter Ryobi Tool World. Seemed like a good plan since the tools come with a charger and a battery to get me started. Hmm. The first time I used the combo, I trimmed around my backyard and blew the pollen off of my 20 by 12 deck using the battery that came with the combo. No problem until I attempted to blow the tree droppings and stones off my driveway. I got about 15 minutes total with the battery. Then came the BIG surprise. An hour and a half to recharge the middle of the road battery. I bought the 2 4ah batteries for $99 and tried again. I could not finish the driveway with the 3 batteries. The 4ah batteries lasted about 15 minutes each. And took 1 1/2 to 2 hours to recharge. Total time spent: 8 hours with recharges. I learned one thing. Turn off the blower when you are walking to your next starting point. One solid drain runs down the battery much faster. My second sweep of the driveway went much better. There was less debris to be moved, and possibly, the batteries are becoming more powerful. (I read somewhere that Lithium batteries need 5 charges to reach their potential.) You can certainly hear a difference when you switch from the P108 battery that comes in the combo to the 4ah batteries. The blower sounds like it woke up. I used the P108, plus one of the 4ah batteries. I still had one bar left on the 4ah battery when I was finished. I don't know how long these tools will last. The on-off switch on the blower couldn't BE more fragile. But for getting the tree grumph off the deck and clearing the driveway easy peasey, it works. Removing leaves from the lawn come Fall... I have my doubts. So I'm keeping it with an eye on the 90 day return window. If it makes the grade, I'll try a few more Ryobis. Regardless, you WILL need more/better batteries, a better charger, or be retired.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great addition to Ryobi 18-volt tool set! Light weight enough for easy use and perfect for around the house cleanup. I have other Ryobi 18-volt tools and love having the batteries to change out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ryobi One cordless combo kit They arent as powerful as i thought they would be , but even with that , they are well worth the 99 dollars they are on sale for !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Barely does the job The kit comes with plenty of stuff for the price. I do like the ability to go outside and blow the patios off as well as trim the flower beds without having to worry about fuel or if the equipment will even start. On the other hand the weed eater is a single string and takes multiple passes to get a clean cut and you also have to purchase refill cartridges for the line instead of your typical spool. Also, the weight distribution on the weed eater is some what awkward to hold for extended periods of time. The leaf blower works ok for blowing out the garage and patios with small debris like sawdust and leafs. If you have a small yard the package is sufficient and the ease of use is great.
