Product manual says it can use Ni-Cd or Lithium-ion 18 v batteries, so if it's Ryobi brand it should work.

Yes, this charger will charge both the lithium batteries, and the ni-cad batteries. Your ni-cad charger won't charge these lithium batteries. This batteries will work in your ryobi drill and saw.

Yes on the batteries. Not so on the older NiCad charger. If you are purchasing the new Lithium ION batteries, purchase the new style charger also.

Batteries can be used with either style. 18V is 18V, however the chargers are a different story. The older chargers will not properly charge the Lithium-Ion batteries and are made a bit different with an additional ridge in the Ni-Cad Intelliport chargers vs the Lithium-Ion charger

All Ryobi One+ batteries, whether it's an old "black top", an "orange" top, or a Lithium, will work with any One+ tool, whether it's a "blue" tool or a "green" tool. I swap my tools and batteries with no issues. And, the Lithium batteries do seem to give better power to the "blue" tools. Just don't charge the Lithiums with the NiCad chargers, they are not compatible.

After you break them loose with a tire iron , you could use this to spin them off. I would NEVER trust a tire only tightened with this little toy. I have one and will use it to spin the nuts on, then will usually get at least 3/4-1 full turn with torch wrench to get them tightened to spec.

It should, unless it was positioned with something pushing the trigger to keep it running. Like in a bucket, or toolbox with ,other tools. If that's not it I would return everything that came with it. The problem could be with the drill, charger, or battery.

Remember, this is an impact driver and not a hammer drill so depends on the hole size, amount of holes, and strength of concrete. For lightweight work and just a few holes say up to 5/16 this is fine as long as you use quality drills and you don't hit metal or large rocks in the concrete. Larger holes or have quite a few to do and if you only need to do this job, I would rent a larger much better unit Read More

You would be surprised how much better these do the job.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly surprised! Bought it yesterday, immediately went to work with it rehanging/replacing boards in the horse stalls damaged from kicks etc. Driver is powerful and fast. drove about 40 3" lag bolts, half with pilot hoies half no. Battery showed little signs of weakness after all that work. Tool does get a little hot but that was hard driving. Standard battery is great. Can't wait to see how the high capacity batteries work. August 28, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi impact driver kit All inclusive, great value, plus carry bag!!! Seperate price on: 2 Li-ion batteries AND chager would have been well over $100, not to mention sharp carry/storage bag, Oh yeah one also gets a great quality, light weight impact driver--WOW August 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value I have owned Ryobi tools for many years. This purchase rounded out the set I have. Good strong capacity, decent battery life and strong driver. My only wish is it came with a hook for the tool belt as it is tough to use when on a ladder August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Been looking to buy one of these for some time. Great Value with 2 batteries , charger and Case. Love these tools. July 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Won't take off lug nuts? This is my first impact driver and it seemed fine until I tried to use as an impact wrench. It won't take the lug nuts off my car tires! I don't understand how that can possibly be with the specs. (1k+ft/lbs) this tool has. I can use the car provided 12" bar, lean on it and get the lug nuts off (maybe 250 ft/lbs), but this tool won't do it. July 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected Bought for the batteries have a older combo kit and needed new batteries it was less for this kit than to get batteries am very impressed with the power and speed May 31, 2016
