Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike This is a great value!
I have many Ryobi 18 V tools and they perform flawlessly. Unlike most, I abuse my tools. Like today I used my 8 year old 18V drill and 8 year old battery to mix cement. Those of you who mix cement know this is not an easy task on a drill. Anyhow, these tools take a beating and keep delivering. Not sure why they get a bad wrap. Funny I also own Ridgid power tools, mainly due to the lifetime warranty. The ridgid stuff just turned a year, the 18V drill clutch failed, my 12V job max motor just failed. Both are in the shop for warranty repairs. Meanwhile the "cheap" Ryobi still works flawlessly, covered in paint, cement, glue, dirt, dropped countless times, etc.... Buy this kit , you wont be disappointed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by voidempty Beware the reviews......REALLY!
This set is a great value if you have Ryobi tools or are just getting started with power tools. I have most One+ tools already and just wanted to take the deal. Now for the skinny......! Some reviewers are downing the quality while only saying other brand names, which makes no sense. Still others praise the tools but dislike the lack of extras. Did this latter bunch see the price they paid or just hit the order button without reading first. Finally, this is a great set of tools for little money. If you like the brand, as I do, you'd be crazy to buy these tools seperately outside this kit. If Ryobi is not your brand, keep looking.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PhilipJohn52 Poor, Poor, Poor - Need i say more? OK, REALLY POOR!
The batteries for the Ryobi's are pure junk. Even employing the NiCad battery repair method (details can be found online) doesn't make them perform any better. And, the Ryobi tools, themselves, feel like toys, with no real substance to them. Cheap price simply equals cheap product. Save your money, spend a few more bucks and buy DeWalt cordless tools. DeWalt's are simply the best - best individual tool performance, best batteries (they respond extremely well to the battery repair method of overjuicing) and best overall value. I've used both 14.4 and 18v DeWalts for 15 + years on major projects with no complaints. As I said, DeWalts are simply the best - period!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by osmithy Works great but feels cheap
So far these tools all perform great. My only qualm is that they look and feel kind of cheap. In particular, the seams in the plastic are very unfinished-looking and the triggers feel like they might break if I accidentally squeeze them when they're locked. I bought the same impact driver years ago and it's much nicer looking. I'm not sure if it's because this recent purchase is a combo kit instead of a single drill or if Ryobi's standards have gone down since then, but it used to be more refined-looking. That said, this combo kit is an extremely good deal for light-to-moderate use. It's even got a hammer drill with a half-inch chuck so you can use all those huge bits that were previously out of reach!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by workssoso Fair kit except the battery charger is cheap/ no LED on imact driver
The charger that came with this kit is not a normal Ryobi 18v one+ charger. Instead it is a light use overnight charger rather than the old style 1hr or new style 1 hr charger. The cord is like that of a cordless phone charger. Very thin and fragile. It takes up less space and weight for shipping but is not a good substitute for the regular battery charger. The kit I bought as an addition to a previous Ryobi combo kit. I wanted to add the impact and hammer driver mostly. The problem with the impact is there is NO LED light that they normally have. Normally you can push the trigger half-way and a LED turns on illuminating the target. NOT THIS ONE. Aside from the charger and missing LED on the impact driver, I am happy with my purchase; the tools and the tool bag.

Great price for the tools that you get. Battery life is great in drills but not in other items such as reciprocating saw and skil saw (not included in this combo kit). I was disappointed that the battery charger (smaller) was different and much slower charging as the other charger that came with a different kit I purchase last year. Description only said charger included and didn't show picture of charger.
Overall good product and recommned for the do it yourselfer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ToolboyNC P894 Kit a Good Deal
The kit includes a P212B Compact Hammer Drill, not the P211 as in the photo. The P111 charger is an overnight/trickle charger, not a 1-hour fast charger. The kit does include a bag (not pictured).
The P212B hammer drill is very solid,a good value. The P240 right angle drill works well but is a specialty tool that most homeowners would rarely need. The P231 Impact is an AWESOME tool, great for driving wood decking screws! The P700 flashlight is OK, and as another reviewer noted it's top heavy and the bulb is a little fragile (HD sells replacement bulb in-store, see DeWalt DW9083).
The real disappointment is the battery+charger. I wish this kit was sold without battery and charger altogether. Drop the price by $40, then the consumer could pick up a P126 kit for $60 (P103 Compact Lithium battery + P114 Fast Charger) and have a real bargain.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rodalo Ryobi 18 Volt Combo
This is my second purchase of a Ryobi product line. The fist was 12 years ago with a 12 volt drill motor; it is still working strong along with the batteries.
I bought Ryobi 18 volt ni-cad product over DeWalt because I would never get that much use out of them for the money I would have paid for DeWalt. The Ryobi combo was a much better value.
The saw is definitely for light duty work. I used up one ni-cad battery to cut one inch off a 24 inch door bottom.
The impact drill was compact, strong. and long running screwing 1.25 “ zero head screws into predrilled ¾ inch oak flooring for end work.
The only drawback is the little snap on charger; the Ryobi dual chemistry one hour charger is the way to go even if you don’t lithium ion batteries.
All in all I am very happy with Ryobi combos and Home Depots holidays sales ads that made them very affordable.
