Rated 1.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by disappointed in ryobi 90 percent of my tools is Ryobi i have 2 of the 6 multi chargers with more batteries than can fit, I am doing a large painting job and this thing was given to me. I empty it and grabbed a brush instead, hose leaked , roller made runs or went dry pending on its mood ,i release the trigger on the gun and it took a min or so to shut off, i wear and wasted more paint did i get on the wall. Ryobi when you fix the bug you have my e-mail i would like to give it another shot, so far love the tools so if the bugs get worked out let me know i will give another try. July 24, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Was severely Dissappointed! I am a fan of the Ryobi ONE+ system but this unit failed to deliver! From the moment I got it out of the box and got the unit ready it leaked. Once I was all ready and had the unit primed it never was able to spray out of the gun. I have not tried the roller attachment but if works anything like the sprayer I would just be wasting my time. If there was a way for me to get my money back, I would have done it! Stay as far away from this product as possible, not so much the money as the factor as is thetime you will loose from your life! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by too little - too soon What a disaster! Conceptually, a great package, but that's as far as it goes. Price is on target and the dual use concept got me really excited. Along with the capacity of the paint chamber coupled with the rate of flow and the back-pack design gave me great expectations, but unit failed in just about every way. Spatters, drips and shut off problems left me wondering why would a great company like Ryobi use it's customer base to do the R & D ? All of these issues should have been resolved in their test dept. BEFORE this ever hit the street. Now, it will take a severe arm-twisting to get me to consider buying another even if the "bugs" get worked out. Sadly, what could have been a terrific solution to painting / staining chores fell victim to rushing to market with too little effort by quality control. October 13, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by it comes with prepaid return lable, i got full refund.try it. i did not try the roller section, just sprayer. it need a better way to stop spraying. i painter door with shutter vents, doors laying on supports. The latex paint spay out well but, the gun does not stop quickly and drips, some times all over your new work, sad. i would have keep it to paint fences or what ever if it stopped when releasing the trigger. if you use only the roller, do you need power pump system? it cleaned up good with lots of water, dig a hole first. hamish September 6, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Product was received with missing parts I boughtthis sprayer as a gift for my brother. Bought it on line and gave the unopened box to him. It was missing the instructions and several parts - he said it appeared to have been re-packaged. Obviously not happy at this point. He has gone to the trouble to call you and return the product for a replacement. January 11, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very messy spray gun. Spray gun leaks a stream of paint out of nozzle for about 3 seconds after letting off trigger. Trigger hard to push epecially after prolonged periods of use. Did not even bother using the roller as i will be returning. May 15, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very messy I was excited when I found this product, what a convenience, great value, and a brand I love. I even took the time to read the reviews and since there were only a couple of bad reviews, I thought I would try it anyway. I should have listened a little more and saved myself a miserable day. When the sprayer arrived, the output hose was kinked, and a quick connector was busted. I called Ryobe for replacement parts, but had to wait a few days as they are only available M-F 8-5 PT. They were happy to send replacements, but it did take a week to arrive. Finally I was ready to get started; I had an easy project just paint the trim on the house. Well after all the prep work, I loaded the sprayer, only to find it continues to spray a stream after you release the trigger, I thought I could control it, maybe it would magically correct itself. Well I ended up having to touch up the house where the trim paint streamed onto the rest of the house. I quickly quit using the sprayer and did the hole project by hand in less time than it ended up taking me to clean the dumb thing, and I didn’t even get it all the way clean since I figure why bother, I’m returning it anyway.
