Bought this 5 tool set to use when installing hardwood flooring and Oak stairway. Used 4 of the 5 tools instantly and it worked like a champ. Good power, battery life and fast charging. Definitely would recommend.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mithrandir Incredibly unreliable batteries
The tools work fine. Nothing special but they get the job done. What makes them unusable is the fact that the batteries fail at an incredibly high rate. I have gone through 4 batteries in the last 6 months. So far, all of them have been under warranty, but it takes around 6 weeks to get the replacements. That means that the tools are completely unusable for the entire time they are out. Not to mention the fact that when I really needed them is when I discovered that the batteries would no longer hold a charge. As soon as the warranty expires on these, I fully expect to have to purchase new tools. That will end up making the initially affordable tools much, much more expensive. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money to get a more reliable tool/battery.
I will absolutely avoid purchasing any Ryobi product in the future.

I've been using Ryobi tools for about 5 years now and have had 0 problems with their tools. I did have a 12v battery stop charging but that's the only issue I've had with a Ryobi product. This combo gets you 2 18v batteries total. The reciprocating saw cut through some bushes like butter even with the included saw blade. The drills work great. One Ryobi drill I had sat outside through south Florida weather for 3 months before I found it, and it still had a charge and worked perfectly. These are great tools for weekend warriors and small to medium projects. They are cordless, so make sure for the saws that you have a high capacity battery. They only real complaint I would have about this combo is that it only came with one bag. Everything ends up just tossed in there, but it's better than no case at all. Overall I would recommend this combo.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jedidiah Solid set for the money
Much less expensive than other sets means you get a lot for the price. Not as powerful as some of the more expensive brands, this Ryobi hasn't backed down from anything I've asked it to do. Haven't used the whole set yet but the drill has seen a lot of use at work. Get some solid bits and swap out your blades straight away. The included ones aren't great. Mag tray is useful but I wouldn't use it if you're drilling upwards. Ryobi doesn't seem to have any attachments for the jobplus but it's compatible with the Rigid if you don't mind mismatching orange and green. Batteries are good and charge quickly. If you saw much get the bigger battery.

Everything i need to do my jobs around the house from building a play fort for my son to rebuilding the fence. The expand-ability of the product is what really set it a part from others.

Received this kit for Father's Day (2013). I have used every tool in the bag. All seem to work fine, but the I think the high capacity lithium's are a must when using the 3 saws. The Drill & Driver both seem strong enough to handle anything that I would throw at them, yet are light enough for me to use throughout the day. I made several quick cuts with the Circular saw & Recipricating saw. Both seemed to have enough power to handle the projects that I am planning. The addition of the Multi-tool saw was a happy surprise. Surprisingly, I have used this tool the most out of the kit; it was the perfect tool to replace a few damaged boards on our vinyl fence, though it sucked all the juice out of the included compact lithium battery (replaced the compact with the high capacity p108 & it ran for hours).
The only concern I have noticed so far is with the multi-tool tools handle design. It does not have a trigger lock and the inside of the handle cuts into the battery. All 3 of my batteries have a 1/8" gauge in them and it causes the battery to get caught when you go to take the battery out.
Other than that, It seems like a well built, all around kit.
