Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi 18v Supper Combo I have used and abused these tools and they have stood up to the test The Drill when used on low speed will go on for a really long time i was impressed. I will recomend these tools. "I gave this product stars due to the life of the Batteries the Yellow /Black ones in the last 5 years i have gone through 7 batteries and would recomend going with the new Lithium for better Batterie life. When using these batteries with Reciprocasting saw or Skillsaw the batteries would only last for about 4-5 minuts or one - 2 cuts , far short of the job that was planned." I will be purchasing more of these tools when they come on sale but they will have the new Lithium batteries. Thanks Ryobi for a great set of tools. January 16, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi 18 volt combo I have had this set for several years and have been very pleased with it. The only draw back is that the batteries do not last that long, a year to year and a half with occasional use. One thing to bear in mind, this is not a Dewalt set, neither is it a Dewalt price. It is a very good set for an incredible price. For the average do it yourselfer, this set and price can't be beat. I liked mine so much I bought another exactly the same and gave the original, still working great, to a relative. December 19, 2008
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Girl Power I am one of those woman who are not power tool oriented. I found that the Ryobi 18V Super Combo was easy to use and efficient. The tool's are not heavy, so keeping the tool's elevated for longer periods is comfortable. The amount of power these tool's have suit their purpose for getting things done around the house. The only complaint I would have would be that the batteries do not last long - the reason for not being worhty of a five. May 14, 2008
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Initial Ryobi purchase I purchased this kit approximately 3 years ago and later purchased a second one as a gift for my brother. The kit has been used to help tear down and rebuild a deck at the cottage as well as many many smaller projects over the years. I would concurr that the only really negative I have to say about the system is the battery life (I have 6 of them which helps a bit). Overall great value for the dollar for light to medium use. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi Super Combo is Super I bought this kit for just small fix-it jobs around the house and it has tackled them all. All of the tools have held up great and the batteries last a very long time. The only is the circular saw is a 5 1/4" blade which is a little small and the circular should probably have a fully charged battery if you are cutting anything really big. The drill has a quick chuck and holds the bits extremely well April 2, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value I have owned my set for over two years now and must say I have been very pleased with the performance of the tools and have bought other tools to add to the set. Like others I find the battery life could be better but for the dollar this is a great set for the home Do It Yourself person. March 24, 2009
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A bit Expensive Tools are good for home use, $199 is high price..I would suggest that this package is worth below $ 150.00. Keep watching and buy when you see good deals for same package or better package. I use these tools and are handy for home projects. April 27, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great product, but bought this set for myself and loved so much i bought a set for my brother.the only thing is that the battery life is too short.I might try the lithum bats ,but still pretty expensive for the diy tool. March 19, 2009
