More of an FYI than a review, but if your current fuel filter looks like the one on the right, then this filter (on the left) will NOT work. I believe it's an MTD part we need. Gave one star to grab reader's attention only, does not pertain to the quality of this item.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Puddy Primer Bulb and Fuel Line Kit
My Ryobi weed eater was leaking from the fuel line. I replaced the primer bulb and both fuel lines using the kit at Home Depot. It now works perfect ! The wire tool with the kit is priceless. Excellent product. I am glad I did my homework and took the weed eater apart before buying an entirely new one. Spend a total of $22.00 for a new 4 cycle engine spark plug, the primer/fuel kit and a new primer bulb since the one in the kit was to large. Be sure to put a little 4 cycle engine oil on the lines so they will slide easily through the fuel tank holes. Take one fuel line off at a time to keep from getting them crossed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doityourselfer Homelite UT20046 - Perfect!!!
I bought a used non working Homelite UT20046 Weed Eater at a garage sale (As Is for $10 that wouldn't start when I brought it home). So I cleaned up the exterior, as well as the carburetor, & muffler, & changed the spark plug, but it still wouldn't start and would leak the gas/oil mix from the fuel lines between the carburetor and gas tank. The original fuel lines looked good (So I thought it was leaking from the carburetor), but upon closer inspection the original fuel lines had an outer coating which made them look like they were still good, but the actual/interior fuel lines were broken, and were leaking, and also the primer bulb had small cracks all over, which was also leaking fuel, so I decided to buy this kit. I changed the old fuel lines with this kit that came with a fuel filter & primer bulb, which is great, no extra expense, and it started right up! Easy installation, pretty straight forward, I recommend lubing the exterior of the fuel line tubes with some WD-40 so they pull through easily. Everything you need in one kit!! Highly recommend!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LawnDIYer Quick repair saves time and money
Common replacement parts save time and money. Should only be installed by user with some experience with small gas engines and no fear of a tight fit. This could be tricky for anybody without experience. The installation of gas lines into the gas tank will take a little work but is worth the price and savings of 3rd party repair or replacement.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NickE Fantastic! Fixes hard starts on Ryobi weed wackers!
This product is fantastic. I was wondering how well the little wire puller thing would work, and I couldn't be happier. I was done in about 10 min total time.
There is a small hole on the end of the replacement hose, so all you do is push the wire through the fuel line hole on the gas tank, hook onto the replacement fuel line and pull through. Careful not to get the hook caught on the hole opening. I ended up trimming mine down a bit once I pulled it through.
The fuel lines that come with the Ryobi CS 26 were complete junk. They were dissolving in gas, which is stupid for a gas line to do. Couldn't be happier for this product. Mine started up after two pulls and not have been run for 2 years.

Best to check the cross reference on the display card for models it may be compatible with. When in doubt check your tool model online to see about replacement parts.

You get every thing you need to make the repair including the pull through tool. The hook must be place inside the hose and should then be hooked through the small hole in the tapered end. It also helps if you put a little oil on the hose to get it through the holes in the fuel tank. 10 minutes and your trimmer is good to go . Disregard the cc mine is 31 cc and is not listed.
