Works well but a bit tight to place into the Trimmer...This does work well but, the only question I had was why did I get notification it was delivered to an address in California when I live on the east coast. Then it arrived three days later without a shipping confirm.?????

This attachment works at least as well as I expected. It does not approach the blowing power of a dedicated blower. It is more than adequate for clearing hard surfaces of leaves/grass/acorns and does a fair job on blowing leaves in the grass. It was tight going into the power head the first time, but not too bad and seems to be easing up as I've used it 4-5 times so far. It's not going to get me through fall leaf season, but it's great for cleaning up after mowing and trimming. Refurb makes it a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by John Great tool at an even better price.
The Ryobi reconditioned blower attachment is a great addition to the gas trimmer. Much cheaper than purchasing a stand alone gas blower and easier than pulling extension cords around for an electric model. Super easy to use and puts out plenty of air to blow off patios, driveways and such. As I have only owned it for a short time, I can't vouch for how long it will last, but it seems well built. I would definitely recommend this item and have no complaints yet.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Rich Great value; same functionality at nearly 40% off
This is my 2nd Recon blower attachment purchase; first one lasted 2yrs of heavy use. Blower rcvd clean of any physical damage or blemishes besides intentional RECON markings. Has good blowing power and control on end of trimmer. Weight of blower doesn't unbalance trimmer-attachment assembly significantly. Only possible drawbacks may be absence of a conical focusing nozzle option to concentrate blowing stream and eventual long-term wear of plastic housing nozzle and bottom due to rubbing against sidewalk when clearing mowing & edging debris. (Note: I'm applying aluminum "skid-plate" to avert the latter)
