Answer:
Hello Dennis Currey! This is a universal brand fit product and will fit most universal brand fit power head product. Please contact your Husqvarna dealer with the model numbers for each items to see if they are compatible. To my understanding Husqvarna may have a longer shaft on the LDX product and will not be compatible. Hope this helps. Thanks for reaching out to us!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 158 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Improvement over original I bought this because the original edger attachment finally gave out after 10+ years and 6 power heads. Pros: This one has a serrated blade which cuts much better, and doesnt get clogged with dirt like the old one did. The depth adjustment is much easier. Cons: The mud flap was slightly annoying, as it kept dragging the ground. The plastic wheel is wobbly. It seems to put more of a load on the power head for some reason. Overall, I like it, and am glad to see the continued product improvement. March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value My 3 wheeled trimmer had a broken guard and replacement was 164.00. I already had Ryobi power head so the trimmer attachment was a natural for replacement. The reconditioned unit arrived in the store about 5 days after I placed order on line. Very satisfied. March 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I ordered a reconditioned product I realize that the product purchased was reconditioned, but it is apparent upon receipt that the product had been well used. The blade and wheel showed much use. A friend ordered the same product that was also reconditioned and there was a stark difference in the condition. No paperwork and assesories were included. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the Ryobi attachments !!!!!!!!!!! For $39.99 it's a steal ! I only buy the Refurbished attachments. I'd go broke buying them at full price . I got all the attachments except the rototiller. Might buy that as well. This edger works fine and cuts a nice edge. No complaints. After I cut , I attach the Ryobi blower attachment ( also refurbished for $39.99 ) and blow all the grass and dirt off the sidewalk. Nice powerful blower. Give a medal to the guy who invented string trimmers and the trimmer attachments. November 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Edger works just just like a brand-new one would. I had a brand-new blade and very few scratches. I would recommend anybody to buy the factory reconditioned items it only half the price and you still get a one-year-old factory warranty January 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for... I have yet to use the product yet, but it is definitely a reconditioned model, after reading prior reviews I was thinking I would be getting this gleaming almost new product. I was sadly disappointed when I opened the box and found the only new part was the edging blade, and the RECON stamp on the side. This was the first and last time I buy RECON parts. I only wish that I had gotten one that looked fairly new out of the box, not like someone used the h**l out of it then returned it. I only recommend this product because for the price, if it works it is a steal, but for someone wanting something new buy a new one. June 11, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful I think this is one of the worse tools I have every purchased. The design is faulty in that it has a skeg that suppose to follow the grove made by the blade. The problem is that if you have thick grass, a grove is not cut, then the little skeg hangs up. It causes the whole thing to shake and wobble then stick. The engine rpm, according to the instructions, has to be wide open! That little sucker is screaming, vibrating and jumping all over the place as you are pushing hard trying to make it go forward. The tool was fine as far as a reconditioned item, but I had to return it and the power head. It was worthless to me. August 30, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded my expectations. I ordered this edger after reading all the pros and cons in the reviews. It was delivered quickly and packed very well. I could see a few marks on the housing but I had expected something like that. There was a new blade installed and I checked all the fasteners and they were tight. I read the included instructions and set the depth, then attached it to my Toro gas trimmer. This is my first expand it attachment and it is too easy to use. I followed advice I had read in some of the reviews about backing over the tough areas and had no problems. I recommend this to anyone needing a moderate usage edger. July 23, 2011
