SpeedLoad Plus #6/#8 Drill Driver (4-Piece) is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke first time First time using the #8 counter sink in pine board..... and it broke. Don't buy, stay away from Ryobi, it's all made in China garbage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't walk away from purchasing this tool, run!!!!! Purchasing this tool in the store is twice as expensive than online. If your looking for a better tool you will find it isn't this one. Your better off saving your money and buying one by Dewalt or even if you have to from Craftman. The problem with this tool is. It took me longer to get it out of the package than it did for the drill bits to break off. And the counter sinking bit was dull after the first hole.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from aggravating tool ... This 'great idea' for a tool had not be prperly tested or engineered AND not ready for the DIY'r nor the PRO. my experiences : 1- bits sheer-off WAY too easily 2- countersink blade DULLs after ONLY a couple of holes 3- Annoyying & Unreliable "Speed-Load / quick-release " chuck .. [is NOT secure (unexpected, releases/ disengages from drilling-bit] 4- in-store price is 2.5 times the online price ( ? )

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible This product is not worth the packaging its in. When drilling a hole the bit will pull out of the sleeve when you try to back the bit back out of the hole. Also the countersink blades are barely sharp enough to cut through particleboard much less a hardwood. Save your time and money and buy the real deal at a true woodworking store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I should have checked the reviews first. I lost another brand's version of a drill/countersink/driver at some point over the last year. I needed one, or something like it for a project so I headed down to Home Depot only to find they didn't stock the model I wanted. They had this Ryobi version, so I took a chance. Wish I would have read the reviews first. I agree, it's junk. Bits break like glass. It wobbles. The bit/driver gets stuck. Spend your money on something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I was relunctant to purchase this product just because of the brand name but there were no other options available. The product was on the wrong hanger so I thought it was $4. When I first used it the bit stuck in the wood and pulled out of it's holder. I tightened the bit, drilled in the same hole and bit intact with the countersink came out of it's holder. There is no lock to hold it in place so every time you drill it comes out. I also looked for replacement bits, they have a flat side so the set screw holds them in place, but could not find them either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money This unit was poorly thought out. Drill bit and shank are placed in drill chuck to drill pilot hole then collar slips over that to drill in screws. It makes for timely work but as you keep taking it apart and putting it together it eventually gets too much play and will not stay tight together making drilling almost impossible. I drilled about 50 holes until this $20 item was shot. Also allen wrench included is not correct size so when you go to tighten drill bit or change drill bit it will strip out the retaining screw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrating Like the other reviewers, I was frustrated by this tool's bad design. It consistently pulls apart and leaves the bit stuck in your material. I guess you could fight with it and try to get it to cooperate. After an hour of using it I threw it out. There are much better versions of this tool available. You don't need this aggravation.
