I purchased these bits as they offered a decent range of sizes and the price was great. The only thing that is any good about these bits is the case though. The bits themselves are terrible. They are not true and straight right from the box. This I'm sure has to do with them being a two piece design. The sharpness of them leaves lots to be desired as well. They are either dull leaving the box or dull after a few seconds of use. If you looking for a good quality drill bits spend a little extra and go with the Dewalt ones. They are much better quality and worth the extra money.

I bought this drill bit set to work on my privacy fence gates. The gates are framed with 1 1/2 inch galvanized fence poles/rails (poles used for chain link fencing). A couple of black oxide bits, that came in my Milwaukee bit set, broke while trying to drill the fence rails. So, I figured I would get a set of titanium bits to finish the job.
Long story really short, I broke 3 or 4 of the new bits and ended up using my other bit set to finish the job. I would like to have been able to say that it was a bad bit, however, multiple bits broke trying to drill this thin metal.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and buy good drill bits.. I will save you time and effort in the end. I returned these for a refund.

It's strange for me to see all these people complain that the bits are not straight and wobble. For the last 4-5 years I get a new set ever Christmas. I love them. I also use the heck out of them. Most of the original bits from my first set still work great. The smaller ones are gone because I break them usually trying to force them to do some thing they should not be doing. Drill I to wood with no issue. Still metal is easy. Well keep in mind when using any drill bit in metal that cutting oil is your friend. I have one of the quick chucks chucked on my drill press for 3 years now with no issues. I gave it 4 stars just because I never give any thing 5. There is always room to improve but I would give it a 4.5 if I could.

Grabbed this set because they were out of the Milwaukee and man am I sorry I didn't wait. It was a few months before I used more than one bit in the box and tried out the chuck. Multiple bits, as well as the chuck, were not true. At first I though I must have dropped my drill and dammaged the chuck it was so bad. Emailed Ryobi, they simply said, sorry, you have had it more than 90 days, you're outa luck. Never again.

Does what it's supposed to do, no problems with any of the bits as of yet. Really happy with the quality, especially given the price, as well as the quantity of bits (16 bits and a chuck, from 1/16 to 3/8. I like to rag on Ryobi, but they've got some gems, and this is one of them.

The speed load drill bits are a time saver. It is very easy and quick to change from one bit to another. They readily pop in and and out. I suffer from arthritis in my hands, thus making tightening a chuck onto a conventional round drill drill bit very difficult. The arthritis in my hands is not a factor in getting a tight fit from the chuck to these hexagonal drill bit shanks.

I bought this set so I could keep the speedloader chuck in my drill full time and just snap the different size drills in instead of loosening and re-tightening the drill chuck. Well, the drills themselves are OK but the chuck is less than useless. You can actually watch the drill bit wobbling when you start the drill. There is no way to start and drill an accurate hole, especially in metal. If I hadn't thrown away the box I would return this useless item.

The hex shank bits and quick release chuck are a good idea, but they were not made well enough to be useful. The bits and the chuck wobbled in my drill and I couldn't drill a precise hole. Returned and bought a similar set by Milwaukee which has performed well.
