CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, Not Great, Worth Investment These bits are good, but not great. While moving at a slow pace they still tend to burn the wood some due to heat build up and lack of sharpness. I would always take long breaks between passes. If used properly with ample cool down time, these bits gets the job done. I recommend purchasing this set for $20 if you are just getting into the router use, or not quite sure what bits you will need. For $20 you can find out exactly what bits you will use most and can invest in a quality brand bit in that size. You will make the testing for bit size less costly and still be left with a good quality bit set to use when work comes calling. November 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by These bits made my project a smooth build. I used these bits to make a toy chest which included drawers and a hidden compartment. They worked great. The cuts were clean and my joints lined up nice. The cutting edge does not span the entire diameter but I didn't have any problem plunge cutting with the 1/4" bit. Having one storage case for 5 bits is also a plus. February 25, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by 1/4 in bit breaks I have purchased two of these sets and each time the 1/4 in bit breaks in half where the shaft meets the cutting edges. I work in eastern brown cedar so it is not like I am pushing it through hardwoods. I am reluctant to try the other bits. November 11, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Worth Buying... Oak... 1/4" bit and 1/4" depth... lasted 31/2 inches before both blades spun out. SPend a little more and get a quality bit. March 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reasonably good quality at at very nice price. I originally went in for a higher quality bit of a single size, which was not in stock at that moment. I chose the 4 pack as I felt, for the money, that they would easily return their purchase price in a short time, even if I only used them a couple of times before tossing them. It appears I will get far greater service life from them than expected, making me more likely to consider other bits by the same manufacturer in the future. November 8, 2011
