Rated 5 out of 5 by Great saw for the price! I purchased this saw as an alternative to renting a wet saw while I put up my backsplash. The backsplash had glass tile, stone and metal inserts and the saw had no problem making great cuts through all of the material. Was also very easy to use to make tight cuts like cutting out he boxes for switches and the receptacles. Great product and would recommend to anyone who needs a great wet/dry saw. July 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pave Stone This little hand held wet saw worked great for me and my project. I paved my backyard patio area with PaveStone pavers and I used this saw to make all the cuts using one blade. The pavers are about 2.5inches thick so I had to make two cuts to get thru the 50 pavers I had to cut with the 4inch blade. I tried cutting the pavers dry but that took a lot longer and the blade got real hot. The water makes a big difference. This was a lot cheap option than buying or renting a larger wet saw. It is alittle messy when wet cutting so you need to be outside or in an area that your not worried about getting things dirty. It's loud too you might need hearing protection and be sure and wear safety glasses. September 29, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hard to change blade this saw has plenty of power and the extra long water line is a nice addition. Water valve is brass not cheap plastic. I've been cutting cement block for a retaining wall so already been thru a number of blades. but there is no shaft lock so it is a two wrench operation to change the blade, so hard to get the leverage. And now the head on the bolt is striped so can't get the blade off. June 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! I bought this to see if I could avoid renting or buying a wet saw to tile my shower. This saw did everything I needed. I used a soda bottle with water poured it on the tile with each cut and it worked wonderfully. August 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great tile saw I bought this saw for my first official tile job, my kitchen backsplash. without knowing anything about it except that its a wet saw and I could cut glass tile amongst other types. I own a ryobi table saw and for my occassional work around my house it held up really well, so I trust the quality. setting it up was ok. out of box, easy but deciding where you want to use it required a few trips to hardware and plumbing stores. middle of a harsh winter the hose outside was frozen so I had to cut in my walkin shower and attach the hose via an adapter to my shower head. Take note, luckily I read reviews before my attempt at tiling. open the faucet a hair! no more, all you need is a trickle to feed the hose and you won't have the problem that a previous reviewer had. a few clamps and a thin piece of wood to clamp the tile works wonders along with blue taping the cut. I did this and also had many successful cuts using my hand and/or without the tape. bottom line is if you have a solid hand with a circular saw there is no end with the ability of this saw. I used it on linear mosaic tile. Large tile it would be a breeze! Triple thumbs up March 1, 2014
