Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 213 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by no power I had very little expectations from this driver. I bought it to use on machine screws on metal panels that are hand tightened. Using a normal 18 volt cordless drill was over kill and too heavy to hold over my head undoing and and then putting in 20 screws per panel. This driver couldn't do it, even with a fully charged battery. On a clutch setting of 8, the driver would stop before the clutch would kick in. I bit the bullet and spent way more on a 12volt deWalt max Li-Ion 1/4" driver which HD had it on sale for the same price as their 7.2volt cordless screwdriver. it came with 2 batteries and I've been using it for a month on the first charge on the first battery. I don't see either of these in the store any more. Shawnessy was the last place that had the cordless screwdriver. November 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Little Driver I bough this driver about two weeks ago and have used it every day for small jobs such as installing cabinet doors, installing knobs and drawer pulls, drilling holes in mdf, and the performance and battery life are absolutely outstanding. I have had many low voltage tools from other companies in the past and none of them can stand up to this tool. Simply amazing power and battery life for a 4 volt product. Plus additional batteries are very reasonably priced. Highly reccomended. August 17, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little tool! This screw gun is great for small jobs around the house. Easy to handle and lightweight. I would recommend that you get a Screwdriving set that includes: A Magnetic drive guide reduces slipping and wobble 1 in.bit tips in the common sizes 2 in.bits and 3.5 in.bits in common sizes , these help where the screw is countersunk into the material. 1/4 in.and 5/16 in.nut drivers and a magnetic drive guide. Some of these sets Includes a tough case for storage. This would help you use the screw gun to it's potential. I put together a end table and a tv stand and have been using it around the house since. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Tool for the price It's light and instead of grapping a nut, phillips, or screw driver I go for my TEK4. Battery stays charged, and has a long life. January 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Pretty weak little screwdriver The screwdriver kit is nice that it comes with a little holder for the bits and a charger and all, but I found it just didn't have the muscle to drive screws or even remove them in some cases. Ended up just going back to my ratcheting and manual screwdrivers because I could apply more torque than this thing could. I eventually just took it out of my tool case and used my drill or, like I said, my manual screwdrivers. The reverse/forward switch is also a bit quirky. It moves easily, even for this style of switch. So it gets knocked out of position easily. It has to actually be depressed INTO the tool as well so you have to make sure it's all the way in before pulling the trigger. Also for some reason the only bits that seemed to fit this driver were the ones that came with it. The quick change system would never lock down on any of my other bits. Not sure why this was. All in all, I'd save your money for a bit nicer screwdriver. Still a fan of Ryobi Tools, but this one just fell short for me. July 28, 2014
