Answer:
No, you cannot use this over a painted surface. You will have to grind all of the paint off of the surface prior to application.

Answer:
The material is grey, but it will not perfectly match existing concrete. You would not use this material to pointing bricks, it is too strong and will crack your bricks. It can be used for patching concrete.

Answer:
That material can be placed from 1/4"-2" in thickness. We also have a material called Top N Bond which can be placed from 1/2" down to a featheredge. So it depends on the severity of your cracks.

Answer:
Yes, it can patch small holes before using epoxy. However, you will need to follow the epoxy guidelines when installing over freshly placed concrete. We would recommend that you wait 28 days before applying the epoxy.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised. I had 2 slabs of sidewalk disengage from each other by about 1". One sunk down 1-1.2". One pail did the job with about 1 lb. left over. As I was doing such a wide, deep crack I mixed this in small batches using the ratio recommended on the pail. This is a quick set product, but I had plenty of time to properly feather the new concrete into and past the old edges. Reasonably priced, easy to use and clean up if you clean tools immediately. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fixed my sidewalk 100% I used this to fill and level a crack that developed after a tree root lifted part of my sidewalk. It was very easy to use: just added water, stirred and applied it with a large putty knife. The mixture was very easy to work with and smooth out. It's only been a week since making the repair but the result seems to be very durable and professional looking. Don't forget to keep the repair wet for 24 hours after application in order that the repair can cure properly. I might add that the price is very reasonable. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cement Mix for patching bricks The cement mix was easy to make, but a little tough to keep it sticking on certain patches. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fast set patcher Easy to mix and spread. Fast drying. Looks great once it has dried. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent Concrete patch I used this to pact the floor, where I had demoed a block wall between 2 basement room, to add a doorway. I had thickness of from 1/8" up to 1" and it did a very good job. you do need to work quickly because by design it sets up fast. Was able to start framing for the door way on top of the patch in about 1 hr. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient for small repairss Convenient for making small repairs in concrete. Easy to mix, finishes smooth, sets up quickly March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 10 LB. FAST SET PATCHER Product worked very well, but had to be quickly applied and smoothed. After brushing, the material set even faster and resulted in a strong and professional-looking patch for driveway entrance. January 19, 2016
