Answer:
The Flo-Coat is a Polymer modified product. You will need to ask the manufacturer of the stain if it will work over a polymer modified product. Stains do not typically work well with these types of materials.

I have used Quickrete resurfacer and it drys to a dark grey and does not match the poured concrete. Was wonering if this will dry to match the concrete slab not being resurfaced since it was recently poured.

Answer:
There is no way to match old existing concrete. However, this material does dry to a lighter grey than most.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Better have PRO written on the side of your truck! If the only concrete you have worked with was to put in a post, or a footing for the dock at the cottage, don't even try this product yourself. You had better have worked with concrete, and finishing concrete floors/pads, or you'll definitely regret it. First of all, each bag is a different, so you will have to add water or product to each mix, to keep it consistent. And you have almost no time to get it onto the existing concrete, and very little hope of leveling it with a decent surface, if you don't know what you are doing. August 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible results I purchased this item to resurface the concrete on my mothers porch. I did all the prep work including using a pressure washer, and even going so far as to use an angle grinder to take off the old paint. I mixed it using a padle mixer and power drill and applied it to instructions in July. I went back to look at the work in the following spring and noticed long cracks and portions that could be peeled off by finger. I'm not happy with this product at all. Now I have to remove this stuff and do the job over again. June 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Product cracks when drying. A complete waste of money! I applied this product as instructed but after two days it cracked everywhere. The temperature was 70 degrees with no rain. I pressure washed the entire area before applying. I mixed it to a syrup consistency and applied it with a squeegee. This is a very expensive product to have it completely crack out. May 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by what a waste of money, i am so upset... I completely regret purchasing this product. I spent $300+ to cover my garage and meticulously prepared the surface. This is product doesn't really flow together with next batch. We made it nice and soupy, yet you can see where it joins next batch and entire surface is kind of wavy. After drying some of the surface has milky residue which was difficult to clean and i am not sure how will bond with epoxy. And did it mention that some parts washed off with regular water hose? I didn't even use pressure washer. I am going to sand it down with diamond blade sander. What a waste of money. October 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I want my money back This is by far the worst product I have ever been tricked into buying. It is so bad I had to worn people. I had a licensed mason install the product as per video and instructions. The mason recommended normal concrete over top. But I thought for how much this stuff costs it's better, and I'm going to have my home for a long time and don't want to do this again. Big mistake its cracked and is so soft i can scratch it with my finger nail. Now I have to get it off to pour normal cement so I can go foreword with my front patio. DONT BUY THIS May 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well but... ... I wouldn't try to do this alone, as you can't spend a lot of time putzing around once it is mixed. A helping hand keeps the job moving forward and allows you time to squeegee the material. You also need to know the right consistency, so talk to a pro or have a pro help you like I did. I bought this product to fix spalled concrete in a small area of my driveway that was damaged by ice and salt. My only real complaint is the final color, as it looks medium gray (after all, the pail DOES say "gray"), but I thought it would be the white/gray of my driveway. My patch looks much darker than the existing concrete. Maybe it will lighten over time.... I hope so! The product itself bonded very well to the existing concrete even though it is only about 3/16" thick. I don't think this stuff is coming off anytime in the near future. May 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Worth It I wanted to cover my concrete deck, since it got old looking and had low spots. The deck is about 80 square feet.Theres an awning,so not much in the way of direct sunlight. The stuff sets up too fast.I ended up mixing 5 buckets of this stuff. Its hard to correct with a trowel because it doesn't trowel well.Using a squeegee as the instructions say is only so useful. One bag ended up having hardened material in it.I had to pull little pieces out of the deck after that pour.Maybe if it were a smaller area or if theres 2 or 3 people to help with mixing and pouring then results might be better. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by expensive but works do not mix too dry if you dont know how to work with cement. it should be a soupy mix to be able to use w/squeegee if you follow directions u should be fine. i was trying to fill a depression in my garage and this seems to be the answer to my problem, i will to a few coats to level the area. for large areas this will increase ur cost.
