How many bags for 12ft x 46ft do I need

Asked by: ve
Schedule a cement truck. Also the size sounds like RV parking. Whatever the case if you want it to last you will need a footing around the perimeter 12 x 12 x 12 inches and you should also use rebar or mesh or watch it crack the first time you give up on it.

how many bags of concrete to fill a hole 2'x2'x3'

Asked by: stretch
Will it depends, because you are asking how many bags to fill a 2ftx2ftx3ft hole or was your trying to say 2ftxftx3in. If it is 2'x2'x3' it would be about 20 bags but if its a 2'x2'x3" it would be about 2 bags. Lefts say that it is the 2ftx2ftx3ft if the hole is 3ft deep I would fill it with dirt 2-3/4ft that will leave you with 3inch deep for your concrete.

Used over 30 of the 80 lb. sacks in my project. Was disappointed in the strength of the sack holding the mix as several of them broke when lifting from both ends. I just adjusted how I worked with the sacks to avoid tearing them.

I can only dig about 1 foot in the ground because I live where there is a lot of basalt. With two bags of concrete mix my posts are not going anywhere for a long time.
