SHEETROCK Brand Durabond 45 25 lb. Setting-Type Joint Compound allows for one-day drywall finishing and next-day decoration of drywall interiors and exterior soffits. Compound is ideal for heavy fills and are virtually unaffected by humidity. It provides low shrinkage and superior bond, making it excellent for projects like laminating drywall and patching plaster surfaces.

  • For best performance, use with USG SHEETROCK Brand paper joint tape or fiberglass mesh joint tape
  • For interior gypsum panels and exterior gypsum ceilings boards

Hello Jeff, thank you for your question regarding our Durabond Setting Type Compound. This Product can only be used for treating the joints between panels used for exterior ceilings such as on an enclosed deck or for horizontal soffits that are not sloping upwards.
