Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I remodeled my kitchen around this sink! My house has a rustic design so I knew I wanted to use a copper farmhouse sink in the kitchen remodel. Read, researched and looked at many and found this excellent sink at Home Depot. As others have stated, a little unsure about the quality because of the low price, but it has far exceeded my expectations. It is the centerpiece of the kitchen and is everyone's favorite part of our remodel. If you fully understand that this sink's patina will continue to change, just as a copper penny does, then you will not be disappointed. It is stunning!! I do think that the recommended sink drain is a bit on the bright side for this sink, but I kept it anyway. January 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stunning Copper Sink I was wary about ordering a discounted priced copper sink, but was very pleased with the purchase. There was one small defective area on the front of the sink which I can't see now after the install. The paper accompanying the sink explains about the patina, cleaning, and avoiding leaving substances on the surface....HEED these words. My daughter left two small tomato pieces in the sink and a few hours went by before they got notices...shiny spots! that are now fading. So, it's a little high maintenance but it's worth it. Plus it's teaching my family not to leave dirty dishes, food, etc in the sink. December 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous! I had some trepidation about getting this sink as I was afraid it would look too dark. The different tones within the finish are lovely and I couldn't be happier. This sink is stunning! They are right about the tomato thing! Not a problem, though, as it does go back to blending in after a few weeks. The sink is heavy and well made. Remember that it is handcrafted so there will be minor differences. The texture is really wonderful, too. It was delivered quickly and damage free(ok, so there's a miniscule "ding" along the edge but it's not a big deal & really, it's hand made so what do you expect? No one but me even knows it's there.). This is a wonderfully functioning work of art! December 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful addition to our kitchen remodel! We originally put down a deposit on a more expensive apron-front white fire-clay sink, until I saw an example of a copper sink online, and could not quite get that image out of my head. It really does add a unique look to our kitchen, and blends beautifully with our cinnamon maple cabinets, light color quartz countertop and dark bronze faucet and hardware. There are other copper sinks out there costing up to 4 times as much as the Sinkology model, albeit with often different designs, but our basic hammered copper single-basin sink makes a statement all by itself. There is no lacquer finish to worry about, and the factory applied antique patina requires little maintenance (natural copper will exhibit varying light and dark tones, and even if you drop some tomato or lemon in the sink and get some occasional bright spots, these will naturally fade away by themselves). We've had the sink now for almost 4 weeks, and I may get around to putting a wax coat on the inside of the basin, but so far we love it just the way it is. July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking farmhouse sink! I was very pleased with the purchase. When I purchased this copper farmhouse sink I kept thinking "you get what you pay for". So maybe I should purchase the $1800. sink. I took a chance based on other reviews and ordered this one. I figured if its bad quality I'll just return it. I was so excited when I opened the box. Its Beautiful, great quality and I would recommend it to everyone looking for a copper kitchen sink. April 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Copper sink with Stone Backsplash I am really happy with my new copper sink. It is the highlight of our kitchen. It co-ordinates great with our stone backsplash, light colored countertops and colored cabinets. Just wipe it out after washing dishes. Because we bought the farm sink, I do use a tub inside the sink to wash dishes. It would take forever to fill with water if you didn't. I love it and plan on having it for many years!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect rustic sink for our lake house I wanted to wait until we had used the sink for some months and see if I still thought this sink was so awesome. Well we love it! We did a kitchen remodel of our lake house and I knew I wanted a copper sink to go with our knotty hickory cabinets. I was hesitant of copper because I heard it was high maintenance and researched it quite a bit before we bought this sink. The price made me skeptical but the reviews pushed me into this lower price sink. I'm so glad we bought it! We don't leave dishes in the sink anyway and I haven't found it any harder than my composite sink at our other home. I just use a cloth occasionally with dish soap and it cleans up beautiful . We got cambria waterford countertops and we picked brushed bronze faucet and cabinet pulls. It looks amazing and we get compliments every time someone sees it. I love not having the divider in the sink. January 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by looks beautiful- more maintenance than i planned I love the sink, love the look, everyone (including all the contractors) LOVE the sink- unanticipated focal point and couldn't get more compliments on it. But, ANYTHING left in the sink will result in shiny spots, I hear that they fade, and I would feel better if there were more to make them look more deliberate instead of me messing up (spinach blended in too well!). I have heard that comet or soft scrub followed by vinegar or baby oil will work to restore finish- but am apprehensive to try it. also, do not miss the 2 sink sides at all- love the big open sink basin. even with the extra upkeep- I would not do anything differently.
