Customer Questions & Answers

how do you attach the sink to the counter top? Will just caulk it be enough?

Asked by: Cocomo50
Yes you can use silicone chalk. Clear. Most sinks except stainless sinks don't have the channel for the sink mounts underneath

Customer Reviews

Kahlo Drop-in Handmade Pure Solid Copper 25 in. 4-Hole Single Bowl Copper Kitchen Sink in Antique Copper is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far, So Great well, I'm not very far into ownership or use, but I absolutely love the look so far. I got it undermounted, so I should be able to avoid the soap rings I've read about. I know it may take a little extra care because of discoloration, but i think it will be worth it! I don't really like stainless steel so much, and this copper is perfectly beautiful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant addition to our quick kitchen makeover The sink was easy to install and looks great. We reviewed the product prior to purchase and we were made aware of potential interaction with food particles and other metal items if left for any period of time. We did have a very minor oxidation accident caused by a few pieces of green pepper that was rinsed off a plate and not noticed until the next morning. We are more diligent as to how we handle our actions in the sink as to not mar the beauty of the metal. It is easy to clean and a lot deeper than our white enamel bowl that was replaced. If copper is your choice this is a great item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very upset I was so happy with this sink when I first took it out of the box. It is absolutely gorgeous and has a wonderful antique patina. Once it was installed I loved it even more...until this morning. It has been in our new kitchen for about two weeks, and every night I wiped it down with a sponge and had no problems. We happened to leave a bowl in the sink overnight, and this morning there is a huge spot where the antique finish came off completely. Now the sink is ruined. If the finish comes off just from leaving a bowl overnight, then it seems it will not last very long. I checked the warranty and it of course does not cover any discoloration. I'm so angry I'll have to live with a VERY expensive sink that has a huge ugly mark on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sink! I love my copper sink! I did buy a copper sink rack which I think is essential to protecting the finish. I also used the wax that was recommended. This isa beautiful addition to our kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Sink Very nice sink, looks really good in our remodeled kitchen. Top mounted in our application but it would be really nice undermounted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is pretty and big enough I think I just received it through UPS yesterday (on time) it took 3 days and free shipping. We are having our countertops updated so the sink has not been installed yet. I orderered a beautiful faucet and the backsplash should tie in to make an outstanding impact. So as far as care I have not gotten that far yet....I saw online about a sealer that is suppossed to protect the sink from discoloration. Still researching that. I know you have to keep it wiped out at least the first year. May update after installation and use. Great price and I liked the pre-made faucet holes. Our countertops were not wide enough to have the sink installed and then have holes cut into the countertop for the faucets. I think you have to have a countertop width of 33" and ours were like 30" I think (been a couple days since measured). Anyways we did not want stainless, and the castiron enamel were over 200lbs and have to be braced underneath and then I heard they did stain, and crack, and get a gray ring (even the brands that said it wouldnt happen) so I think going with the copper at 27lbs for such a great price was the best way to go. My husband really liked the copper over white. And I did not want stainless again.....plus now I can buy that beautiful bronze and copper faucet.
