The installation was pretty easy the problem was it leaked at connection point at sink. I tried disassembling and reinstalling 2 times still had small drip, ultimately the solution was applying silicon at the washer along with at the threads connecting drain piece together and drilling a small hole in the tube itself to reduce vacuum from overflow. Second drain and sink installation went perfect after same prep, they both now work as good as they look.

My one concern is that it requires your hand to go into the fluid to push the drain and empty the basin.

This product was so poor, the plumber could not install it as the metal just crumbled. Had to go out and get another.

This unit was recommended for the copper stand alone tub. It is too small for the tub opening and is not designed to go in to a P-trap assembly. It is more of a sink drain then a tub drain. This was a total waste of time to order and try to and then have to find the correct item. Stay away from sinkology when ordering materials, they are poorly designed and look good but have no installation instructions or details for specifications.

This is a brighter copper than our sink, but it looks good in our vessel sink. With a push, the drain plugs the sink so you can keep water in the basin. It's very attractive. We used this instead of the plug that came with the faucet.
