Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by decent product These screws are decent for a desk screw. The torx head is a great feature that helps prevent stripping normally associated with a phillips head. No splitting was observed even in close proximity to the end of 5/4 x 6 treated deck boards. The only complaint is that the self-tapping ability, for a screw that claims to not need pre drilling, is marginal at best. Some took quite some time for them to finally bite. I’d be leery of using this in anything other than soft woods, however that covers probably 95% of what most people will use them for. June 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product Works well, good quality screws. Star (Torx) heads are fantastic. My vote - Get rid of the #2 Phillips! January 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not use for masonry! These are marketed for use with masonry as long as you pre-drill a 1/8" hole at least 1/4" longer than the screw. I followed these instructions and at least half of the screws broke clean in two when being driven into both concrete and brick. After the first few breaks, I was as gentle as possible with the torque but they kept breaking. I would not recommend these for any masonry application. Use a larger diameter screw. April 29, 2014
