This Speedway Twin Tank Compressor is what you need for household projects. I found it a little louder than advertised. Great for pin nailing or inflation and some trim nailing, that you need 75-80 psi. When you read the applications and see frame nailing, I'm sure they meant Picture Frames. An all around little compressor. Once tanks are filled, It cycles quick. Only reason for a 4 rating is noise.

I got this small compressor to use for airbrushing, and for that, I think it will be fine. It doesn't offer a lot of volume or capacity, and that's by design. Recommended uses are for things that require only a low volume of air, such as inflation and brad or pin nailing. Much more than that, and you'd be better served by a compressor with higher CFM.
The unit took just under 3 minutes to reach 100 PSI from empty - 2 seconds under, to be exact. The unit I received appears to be of good fit and finish. It is reasonably quiet while running, but not as quiet as I had anticipated, being about the same loudness volume as my pancake compressor.
I filled the unit and let it sit for several days, with no loss of pressure whatsoever.
This unit only draws 2.6 amps at 120 volts, so you should have no problem running it on most any circuit in your home or shop.
This oil-free unit comes ready to run, other than that you will need to attach the desired fittings to the included coil air hose. An tire inflation chuck and a blow gun are also among the accessories included.

To date I have only used it for inflation purposes. It seems to work well. I did have to use plumbers tape on the attachments to prevent air leaking. It fills the tanks reasonably fast and the noise levels are not bad.

I bought 2 of these units. I checked them both upon arrival. One worked well, the other had a leak at the top tank. The control valve wasn't attached to the tank properly, and tanks couldn't fill above 20 psi. I returned the bad unit and ordered a replacement. That one came in defective as well. This time the tanks would fill to 80 psi, but leaked at the same spot. That meant that the little .25 horse motor was running non-stop. After 20 mins, I shut it off, drained the tank, and called to purchase a different machine. Not going back to speedway for a small compressor.

The air compressor was light, powerful, and gets up to pressure quickly.

This small kit is perfect for the DIY homeowner who just needs an air compressor for small maintenance jobs and garage applications. I used this compressor to finish the bead board in my basement. The small design means that you are getting a quieter unit, which is always nice when you're using it inside. I love this kit and the value was very appealing to me.
