Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hobby welder This welder has been great for teaching myself how to weld, while it does come with everything you need I'd highly suggest getting your own mask, as the included shield will occupy one of your hands making keeping your weld consistent and steady difficult. Another thing to note is this uses a 220v power supply so if you have some house-hold projects that are not near a 220v outlet that's something to consider. I haven't attempted any thick welds and have used it for learning as I said, my plan is to tackle some basic decor projects, and so far it's been very straightforward and simple to use, no headaches or trouble using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome welder I bought this 220V stick welder and it works great, I had to adapt a dryer cord to the locking plug this welder uses, I used it for welding a few brackets from a 1/8" thick flat bar and it worked awesome!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total junk At high range the unit can only run for about 5 mins before over heating and shutting down. It then takes 15 mins to cool before it will run again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for small jobs This is a good welder for smaller jobs but I would not recommend it for any larger ones. I was a little disappointed I had to change it to a 220 volt, but that is my fault for not reading the whole description where it said it was 230 volt. It does do a good job for a 75 amp so I would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only for the beginner. I picked this up not too long ago to weld some spare metal and also to learn how to weld. Just make sure you have a way 220v power supply and adapter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from thought it was a good deal. I was wrong. I didn't see in the advert how the plug was not standard for American plugs... plus it's input is 220 volt. Not standard American 115 volt. I can't do anything with this junk and I don't know how to return it.
