One would need the branch of a hundred year old oak to hold it. Hurricane force winds might make it sound. The sound would be a klink; nothing like a chime. But it does look like a pinecone. I still haven't figured out what to do with it. It's still waiting in the box it arrived in.

It was smaller than I thought it would be, but it is prettier than I thought it would be. It is very sturdy and heavy. I have gotten several compliments on it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gran48 Beautiful, rustic and heavy!!
It needs instructions on how to adjust the length because with it longer it will make more noise. I was given one of these for Mother's Day and LOVE IT! How is the length adjusted? Thank you!

This wind chime is totally unique. It is a stately addition to my garden, adding Americana charm and warmth. Excellent product - worth far more than I paid.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by CGriffin To heavy
It is so heavy that it will take a cat 3 hurricane to make this wind chime work !!! Also after 2 weeks of hanging outside it has already started to rust!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MrEd The pine-cone wind-chime does not chime (too heavy)
The pine-cone is aesthetically pleasing, but simply non-functional as a wind chime (unless Hurricane force winds).

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by bowcrazey not a wind chime
product is too heavy and compact to make any sound.
More of just a hanging tree ornament.
