Product Overview

Stay cool or warm and breathe fresher air with this 10,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Heat from SPT. Cooling, dehumidifying and fan features all in one allow you to enjoy a comfortable year-round environment with a single device. Powered by a 10,000/9500 BTU cooling/heating capacity, it thoroughly cools or heats an area up to 300 sq. ft. Two fan speeds, an integrated timer and remote control allow convenient climate regulation. It uses a UL-required LCDI (Leakage-Current Detection and Interruption) plug to operate with utmost safety. It also features self-evaporating technology, which means that during the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to chill the cooling coils and make it run more efficiently.

I am in a recovery house and the window a/c barely works and I have COPD and the heat makes me suffer. Can I purchase

a portable unit that does not have to have a hose vented or connected to the outside of the house? Thank you.
Asked by: Christina
Hello, our portable a/c units such as this WA-1061H does require an exhaust hose that must be connected to the unit and blows hot air out the window when having it hooked up to the window slider kit, we do offer through the wall connectiions for additional purchase but if you do not mind maybe setting it up in another room that might get hot this unit should be great for you.
