Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spike Completely Satisfied with the New Wine Cooler
Others have commented on the excellent packing of the unit for shipment and that's exactly what I found as well. The unit arrived in excellent shape and has consistently maintained the set temperature for the red and white wine selections.
It's an attractive, quiet running wine cooler and I'm very pleased that I selected this model.
I'd recommend this unit to anyone looking for the features it provides.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by catdancin55 great value and QUIET!
I set up this wine fridge in an area that is close to the family room. It is so quiet I often check to see if it is working! After setting it up, it got to the set temperature very quickly and we have had no issues what soever. All sizes of bottles fit- big shoulder and/or taller ones. Only set up issue was there were no instructions on how to install the door handles. I guessed ( correctly) that I needed to pull off the door seals. TRICKY as the glass is VERY thin so wedging it out with a flat-head screwdriver could chip/crack/break the glass. ( which I did in the corner - very tiny piece, so I was lucky). The only feature that is clunky are the wire racks....they seem to strain to hold the bottles and do not slide easily with wine on them. I would still recommend this unit, though.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ldelva Will not work properly inside a custom cabinet.
I ordered this for our new wine room and it looks great, it arrived at the store promptly...the only thing is that I built a custom cabinet to put it...and it doesn't work properly inside the cabinet...can't get the temperature below 56 degrees and the area gets very warm...I took it out of the cabinet and it reaches the minimum 44 degrees...Now I have to figure out how to make it work...change it to another location, re-arrange cabinet or return it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bridget41 Looks and works great
The cooler was just as presented in the picture. Double boxed for safety and arrived without any dents, etc. Just set it up, plugged it in and it works great. Large bottles are a bit of a problem but if you alternate them it works out fine. Temperature stays constant.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Excellent unit in this price bracket!
I did a great deal of research on multiple models and manufacturers before purchasing this cooler. I generally saw the same complaints over and over when looking at models under $400. They were loud, failed to maintain temperature, and could not handle larger bottles without sacrificing a lot of capacity.
This one reached target temperature very quickly, much faster than the several hours (or more) that other models apparently require. It holds the set temperature very well, but like any small fridge, the temp will climb quickly when you open it. It rebounds very quickly though.
If you keep your house fairly warm in the summer, it will probably run almost all the time, but it doesn't draw a tremendous amount of power. Even if it's running full out all day and night, in the most expensive market in the US, it will still be less than $0.50/day to operate.
Something to keep in mind with almost all of these small coolers: They're Peltier cooled units, they really do need a little air flow, much more so than your fridge might. I don't think it would do well completely enclosed within a cabinet or tightly fitted under a counter unless you added a ventilation fan for it. Also, it's a good idea to get a can of computer duster and blow the dust off the fans and heat sinks on the back every few months. If they get caked in dust, it will start to have trouble maintaining temperature. I didn't see this in the manual, but it should be added.
It's quiet, far more so than my refrigerator or my desktop PC. You can tell when it's on if the room is silent, but the noise is almost undetectable if you've got a TV or radio on, even at low volume. My aquarium water pump is considerably louder.
It comes with 10 removable shelves, each holding two standard bottles. The removable shelves make it possible to store champagne or other large bottles on the bottom while only losing two bottle spaces. It also makes it possible to store boxed wine, particularly the smaller boxes, while still holding 12 standard bottles (see photo)
It's deep enough that taller white wine bottles and champagne bottles fit just fine.
It looks good, the finish is clean and it looks well assembled. The doors seat firmly and crisply, and stay closed securely. The display is bright and the control buttons are crisp and simple.
When it arrived it was well packaged, all parts were present, and it went together quickly.
My only complaints are pretty minor. The interior light is mostly useless, it really only illuminates the top two bottles, and even then it's relatively dim. It's really more mood lighting than utility.
It lacks a door lock, which would be nice in a house with kids. It isn't an issue for us though.
During assembly, the manual is a little sparse, but it's pretty straight forward. The only complaint I had there is it never mentions where they hide the handles, which are taped inside the rear of the unit and aren't really easy to spot. This caused a few minutes of panic on Christmas Eve when I thought it was missing the handles completely.
This might be ridiculously specific, but I'm a ham radio operator, and the Peltier cooler generates a ton of RF noise. If you're a ham, don't install this anywhere near your radios. You won't be able to hear a thing when it's running.
All in all, a great price, great product, and it was dubbed "The greatest Christmas gift ever" by my girlfriend, which is the important bit.
There are certainly better overall units on the market, but I couldn't find one for under $550. It blows the $200-$300 units out of the water, and is well worth the extra few bucks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JKup An excellent product, but shipping or warehouse storing caused damage to the unit - small dent on side.
It arrived exactly as scheduled. A small dent on lower side was the only imperfection. Decided that I would live with it after talking to local Home Depot and learning that they would exchange it...but I had to bring it back in. I chose not to do this because I had put it into operation and all my wines would have to be unloaded and then the wine cooler along with original packing had to be returned. I decided to cut my losses.
It wasn't the coolers fault and I am very pleased with it overall. Just too bad it has this dent to blemish the appearance. Seems like a "scratch & dent" price option should have been considered.
