We have had this wine fridge for just over 9 months. Motor is quiet (we keep in a pantry), but it will not hold the temperature we set. We set it at 58, and it usually holds around 62. Why won't it just run more and keep it at 58? I couldn't say. The light sometimes comes on by itself. We like that you can move the racks to accomodate larger bottles. I would not recommend.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ilovedogs small unit, not powerful, but fine for the price
This is a good little wine cooler. It needs a lot of ventilation, otherwise the unit doesn't have enough power to cool sufficiently. I have my wine cooler in my large, walk-in pantry so that it is not taking up space in the kitchen. But it puts off quite a bit of heat so it warms up my pantry and over time the cooling of the unit becomes less efficient because the pantry area has warmed up (even though the pantry area is sizable). I believe this issue is worse in the summertime because my house is not very cool -- I actually think the unit will work quite a bit more efficiently in the fall, winter, and spring when the ambient temperatures are cooler.
This is actually my second wine cooler of this type. The first one constantly beeped and the interior light mysteriously turned on and off constantly -- I think there was an electrical short in that particular unit. So I returned it to Home Depot a month later and bought a replacement cooler that was the same model. The current unit is working like a charm.
HINT: cool your wine bottles off in a regular refrigerator for about 30-45 min before putting them in the wine fridge... it will help your wine fridge out so that it doesn't have to work so hard to cool the contents of the wine cooler. As I said -- this is not a powerful unit... but it is great for the price. Not sure how long it will last -- but I hope it will get me through the next 2 years.

This coolor overall is fine. We have three issues with this cooler. First, it's not good for white, it only goes as low as 54 degrees. Second, the selves dont fit all wine bottles, you have to force some in or turn them around to jimmy them in. Third, it stopped cooling in less then 2 year, now its only an expensive wine rack. Hope this helps!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shalin Like this small cooler with large capacity.
I just got this as a second wine cooler and really like how it fits in a small space - it's about the size of a small college dorm fridge, yet holds 20 bottles. (standard size bottles vs. big chard or champagne bottles) Easy controls on front of door to set temp between 54-66 degrees - good for reds or cool whites. Plus the price seemed reasonable to me for what you get.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ctbigapple I really like this product. Alot.
You'll definitely get your money's worth with this product. It's silent, sleek, and gets the job done.
My only issue is that if the bottle is big, you'll have to jam it in there. but other than that--you won't be disappointed.
I've had it for three months now and not a single issue.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amaze Beautifully designed and holding temperature well
It's quiet and the fan noise is easy to ignore. After the initial cooling takes place, the noise decreases significantly and is nothing compared to compressor models I've owned before. Much quieter than a regular house fan. Love the tinted door which shields wines from ambient light.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by doctorw Nicely designed, small and compact.
Excellent wine storage for tight spaces. Only real issue is that the racks are designed only for standard sized bottles: fatter ones, such as Champagne, will be tight or not fit at all.
