Can I plumb directly for filling and draining.

Asked by: Patty
These are not designed for connecting directly to your household plumbing like traditional built-in machines. This dishwasher comes with an adapter, quick connect and hoses to connect to a standard sized faucet aerator.

Customer Reviews

Countertop Dishwasher in Silver with 6 Wash Cycles is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 77.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far outstanding Used it 5 times in a week. Worked great. Outstanding feature is the quiteness when operating and the controls in the door, giving more interior room. This is the 3rd counter top I have purchased in 7 yrs. The 1st 2 were disapointing as they malfuntioned or leaked after a year or so. Unless you know how they get fifteen clowns in a VW bug it is impossible to get six place settings inside. However it does have more room than models with the controls on a side panel. Exterior is easy to clean and features inside surpass others I have used (i.e. automatic dispenser for soap and spot remover.) Also two filter systems is a plus. If this washer continues to perform as it has for the next 6 mths I will write another review with 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very pleased with the performance of this dishwasher. It's the perfect size for a smaller kitchen, and smaller family. I like that I can use either the pre-packaged all-in-one agents or individual soap and rinse agents. Like any other dishwasher pre-rinsing is a must. And it would be wise to scrape off as much food as possible since there is no garbage disposal in the drain like a full size dishwasher has. As long as you follow the manufacturer's instructions, and recommendations, it works beautifully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice! I live in a 37 year old house with limited countertop space and almost no place to install a full sized dishwasher. This perfect on top of the counter and under the upper cabinets. VERY quiet!!! Cycles are a lot longer than I expected, but I guess because the compact size, it may take longer for a good clean. Not a deal breaker! We cook for a family of 5 daily. This washer holds and cleans all the dishes for the entire day. It will even clean a chili pot that sat on the counter overnight! A great buy!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from update from tb733 As stated in first summary I would post in again in 6 mths. This is the BEST counter top dishwasher I have ever used. After 2 failed machines, I found this washer humming right along as described. After over 60 washes it is still quite and performs great. The exterior is easily wiped clean and interior is larger than side controlled programs. I still can't figure out how to get 6 dish placements but who cares.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Other than needing a caddy for the hoses I can't think of a negitive thing to say. This is a great product for a small place. Small and compact but cleans like a full size washer. The manual is badly translated and a bit vague. If you've had a dishwasher before it won't be a problem. It uses little water and setting it up was too easy. A must have for singles or a couple without kids. Runs quietly which I really enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Solid, Quiet I've had this counter top dishwasher for about a month. Our kitchen is SO much more tidy! It's a remarkably quiet, simple, well-built dishwasher, and the dishes actually do get clean. I spend half the effort with this than I did washing dishes by hand. I have varied sizes of near-10-inch plates, and I do have to tip some a little. It's a snug fit, but kind of a fun puzzle to figure out appropriate places for my odd-sized dishes. We get a normal day's load in it (for a family of two adults and a pre-schooler). I still have to wash my pasta strainer and mixing bowls by hand, so keep a dish rack around for larger items. I did have to replace the faucet adapter when I installed it (threads were stripped), but that cost one trip to the store and a dollar. Read the directions carefully, get the right detergent, and you will likely be happy with this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall perfect for me I ordered this about three weeks ago and I put it to work as soon as it was installed. I have never installed anything and with my very weird faucet I needed help from my grandfather. But he did it in minutes and said it was simple and would have been easier with a normal faucet. I had an entire counter and sink of dishes and it took a couple days to get them all clean but it worked perfect! I use a lot of Tupperware for work and I was worried it wouldnt clean them well like a few of the reviews said but as soon as I put rinse aid in as well as the dish soap it worked great. Just rinse off and put it in and it comes out great! And it gets rid of the smell the plastic holds which I could never do by hand washing. It held a pot, pan and a small pot, plus the lids and they all came out perfect! It looks tiny but holds quiet a bit if you know how to put them in there. My big plates have to be tilted but they still come out clean. I put mine where a normal size dishwasher would go but on a makeshift stand (until I can make one). It fit great and I cut a whole in the top of the counter to feet the connector through to get it to the sink. I dont have a lot of counter space so this was the perfect solution. (see pictures for a better idea.) I think this is PERFECT for a one or two person home. And if you use it the way it says then it works amazing for the price. The only thing I don't like is that it is pretty hard to see when the rinse aid is full/empty. The little tiny window isn't big enough to see the liquid like it says in the instructions. So I fill it slowly and have to figure it out that way. Also if I start seeing spots on my glasses I know I need to refill it. It might bother someone but not really a big deal for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After almost 2 years I placed a review on 28 May,2011. An update.. Washer just finished a load. Since the purfchase, over 200 washes and doing fine. I rely on reviews when researching for a purchase. Thats why I came back to post. Since I had 2 other types of countertops that failed after a year or so, I highly recomend this machine.
