Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 72 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall perfect for me I ordered this about three weeks ago and I put it to work as soon as it was installed. I have never installed anything and with my very weird faucet I needed help from my grandfather. But he did it in minutes and said it was simple and would have been easier with a normal faucet. I had an entire counter and sink of dishes and it took a couple days to get them all clean but it worked perfect! I use a lot of Tupperware for work and I was worried it wouldnt clean them well like a few of the reviews said but as soon as I put rinse aid in as well as the dish soap it worked great. Just rinse off and put it in and it comes out great! And it gets rid of the smell the plastic holds which I could never do by hand washing. It held a pot, pan and a small pot, plus the lids and they all came out perfect! It looks tiny but holds quiet a bit if you know how to put them in there. My big plates have to be tilted but they still come out clean. I put mine where a normal size dishwasher would go but on a makeshift stand (until I can make one). It fit great and I cut a whole in the top of the counter to feet the connector through to get it to the sink. I dont have a lot of counter space so this was the perfect solution. (see pictures for a better idea.) I think this is PERFECT for a one or two person home. And if you use it the way it says then it works amazing for the price. The only thing I don't like is that it is pretty hard to see when the rinse aid is full/empty. The little tiny window isn't big enough to see the liquid like it says in the instructions. So I fill it slowly and have to figure it out that way. Also if I start seeing spots on my glasses I know I need to refill it. It might bother someone but not really a big deal for me. April 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Greatest "Little" Appliance EVER. This is honestly the greatest little appliance ever. I love this dishwasher. It's small, but it does the job VERY well. I've washed pots and pans, regular dishes, glassware, and silverware. Everything comes out clean. The assembly was beyond easy. I'm sure I could have given it to my three-year-old, and he could have done it. Make sure you use a jet-dry type product, it makes a WORLD of difference. I also use Cascade liquid detergent, because I prefer it over powder... just personal preference. I live in a home built in 1948, and it has all the original kitchen features, including no dishwasher. I had NO IDEA this little gem existed, until the week I bought it. After all the research across a LOT of websites, I decided on this one, and it is so great. Great value, great purchase, great machine, I love everything about it. It has been a LIFE SAVER. I highly recommend it, if you don't have a dishwasher, don't have the means or option for installing a dishwasher, or whatever. It's fantastic. I got it shipped-to-store, and it arrived a full week before they said it would... IMPRESSED! I will probably keep it and use it for small jobs even after we remodel our kitchen. I swear, get this, you won't be disappointed. November 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Countertop Dishwasher-Small & Mighty I received this item and was excited because it fit perfectly where I needed it to fit and was easy to install. Because I have very limited space I enjoyed the design and ease of use. The problem however was that while it seems the features would have fit my needs, the quality of the components are a bit flimsy. The back fittings fell apart after a few uses and kept leaking during the cycle so I had to put some elbow grease into it and really fit them tightly and add some washers to make it water tight. I should have been more suspicious when opening the item and noticed water was already in the system as it appeared that it might have been a returned/refurbished item from someone else but it did do the job. Home depot in my experiences has always stood behind their products so for that I will continue buying their products and will rest assured that should I have problems they will help me resolve them. This brand however is not one I would recommend for purchase if you do have the space and can accommodate a more durable machine. May 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by best and worst Great little machine. Ok price. Gets the job done. Better than washing dishes by hand. But its temperamental if not babied. Weve had it for a year and a half. I recommend the Zyliss baster with the removable brush inside. When the machine's filter or drain clogs, a baster will be your saving grace to remove the water fully to clean out the filter and drain. The brush is great for cleaning out the hoses, back of machine, and interior of machine under the filter when you have a clogged machine, which you will do even if you are insanely careful. I seem to get most of my problems solved by doing that. I dont recommend powder detergent. It leaves a mess on glass if you run it on a no dry setting like we prefer to save energy. The gel detergent pods seem great, but the gel capsule clear glue like material gets clogged in the sprayer arm holes. A paper clip, sink faucet, and an hour of your time will clean that up though. Stick with the hard detergent pods. Like I said, I dont run the higher settings too much to save running time and energy costs. Usually after Ive cleaned the machine out, I do run it on its hottest setting without the rack inside to make sure everything is good. Another recommendation is to start your hot water before you turn the machine on. Get the hot water flowing. It helps extend the life of the heating unit in the machine. Also clean out your filter after every wash. And spin your spray arm after its loaded to make sure there isnt any interference. Good luck. I love the machine, but I love the larger machines more that dont take as much fuss. December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by We built it in Shipping was on-time, packing was good and not excessive. We chopped of the hot and cold water hoses and connected them permanently to a source and a drain in an outdoor application. We'll disconnect the hoses at the back of the unit for winter storage. Loading is a little challenging but it's quiet and it cleans well. It even looks nice. We're happy. July 9, 2013
