We have had our air purifer for a little over a month...worked great for a little over a month.
Then when it was running on low...it would speed up itself for a few seconds..then back to low. We were afraid of it, so we are waiting on ups to pick it up now. We are going to try a different manufacture.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jimmy Draws a lot of air to filter very quickly
I chose this air purifier because it had two fans situated behind a very large, flat intake panel -- meaning, it draws a ton of air through its HEPA filter very quickly. This large, wide intake was acceptable to me because the unit compensates by being quite thin, making it easy to place against a wall or, as in our case, beneath our guinea pigs' cage.
It delivers as promised, able to filter and change over the air in the room very, very quickly. When we have changed our guinea pigs' bedding, you could see the dust that usually flew all over the room being drawn into the filter -- especially on Turbo.
I believe this unit filters particulates very well though it is slightly noisy; but, if you're looking for a filter that filters well, it has to draw a lot of air, so it's bound to be noisy. We knew it would be and we're fine with that.
The only drawback for me is that the HEPA filter isn't the best at eliminating odors. Even with the Ionizer feature turned on, the pet smell in the room can linger. That said, we bought this purifier for filtering the dust from the cage and it does that expertly.
