I recently installed this door at a vacation home. It is a nice looking door. Install was fairly simple. There was one issue with the instructions. I will try to post a pic to show the issue when I go back down there and snap a pic. Had I read ahead (you see where this is going) I would have noticed a problem which I ran into but was able to solve.
The instructions assume that the side rails are flat against a wall. I had a fiberglass shower insert. So the side rails were flat against it which made them sit about a couple of inches away from the wall. (At the top of the rails). The top rail just sits on the side rails. (I assumed that it attached somehow) The instructions had you measure the distance between the jams (side rails) and cut the top rail to that length. Well since the top of the side rails aren't flat against the wall, the top rail had space to shift.
There are 2 ways to circumvent this issue. (Only #2 was available to me since I had already cut the top rail)
1) Cut the top rail wider than the side rails and to the actual width of the wall. That way it won't move.
2) Drill a hole at the top corner where the top rail meets the side rail. (Drill it towards the outside so it doesn't interfere with the door rollers). Insert a stainless steel machine screw and nut. (I used a #10 screw and nylock nut). This will keep the top rail from shifting. Make sure it is a stainless steel screw and nut otherwise it will rust.
Other than that, the door is great. Install was fairly simple. I did it all myself. (Including getting it into the house and up the stairs)

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Chris Nice door (I think) but poor customer service
This is a good looking door and I think it will work fine but I've been unable to complete the installation. The box I purchased appeared to be unopened but it was missing the hardware packs (screws, rollers, etc). On Monday I called Sterling/Kohler to have them ship me the missing parts. The person I talked was helpful and said the parts I need were in stock and I should have them by the end of the week since I don't live across the country. She insisted that the box must have been a customer return because there is no way it would leave the plant incomplete. I don't believe that but no big deal, I understand mistakes get made in packing. Now comes the end of the week when I thought I should be receiving the parts. Upon checking the order status online I find that they have not been shipped yet so I make another call. A different customer service rep looked up my order and verified it hadn't been shipped. Shockingly the parts are still in stock but for some reason no one has bothered to ship them for 5 days. When I asked why and if they could be expedited, she stated that normal delivery time is 7 to 10 days so I shouldn't complain yet. She said is in Wisconsin and the facility is in Tennessee so there is nothing she can do move things along, she couldn't even cancel the order if she wanted. What kind of company is this that person one location can't contact another person within the same company just at a different location. In the meantime, I have a bathroom that I had expected to finished last weekend still in limbo. It's doubtful I'll purchase from Kohler again as a matter of principal.
