Sure, I would love to have fancy, frameless, swinging-door glass around my walk-in shower, but other renovation projects in the house cried out for the 1300+ dollars it was going to cost. If I ever free up the bucks for the high end solution, I can easily remove Sterling's attractive Finesse unit (I could even re-use it on another shower). Meanwhile, I can enjoy the convenience and style of a well made enclosure that was easy to install. I especially like the Lake Mist etched pattern on the door glass. It offers privacy yet passes light with a level of translucence that graduates from obscuring at the bottom to crystal clear at the top (you can see out at eye level, but no one can see you in the nether regions).. One installation tip, however: When I tiled my shower, I put in one of those cutesy bands of accent ceramics at about chest-high. Those feature pieces disrupt the otherwise smooth, even finish of the walls, and I had to use my grinder to cut a matching contour in the edge of the door frame on each end wall. (see photo) It wasn't difficult, but it wasn't fun, either. Fortunately, there is plenty of depth in the aluminum edge strip to accommodate the adjustment.

Installation was easy and installation instructions were good. Making a good sqare cut on the top track is difficult, so be careful. The finish on the towel bars was poor, with oxidation from storage. The oxidation caused all of the bolts to bind in the threads and one sheared, even after spraying the internal and external threads with WD40. The local store allowed me to take one from a display unit. The display unit thread design was different; the towel bar was hollow with a nut welded internally. Much better than the threaded solid stock on the bar that came with the unit. However, the finish is slightly different as well, but one in inside the enclosure and the other is outside, so it is not too noticeable.
One of my walls was not square, but adjusting the rollers compensated for that problem. The doors do not roll effortlessly.

The shower door is solid and of high quality. Installation directions were complete and easy to follow. One person installation is possible if you have some experience with home projects.

One of the handles seized up during installation so the screw won't tighten all the way and won't remove. Now after using for two weeks one of the wheels came apart and dumped its bearings on the floor. But it looks nice...

This shower door is great! The style would be an excellent choice for either a modern or classic bathroom. The dots on the glass provide a quietly opaque surface.
