Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Nice product with one potential flaw...
Not too difficult to install. It's sturdy, and it looks nice. The base is much stronger than the one we replaced. It's a very sturdy foam-core base with a durable exterior. The poorly-made plastic base on our old shower failed. Once installed, this new shower looked great, and the 42" size feels much bigger than the old 36" one we had. The only quality issue was the door hinge. A screw goes through one side of the hinge, then through a hole in the door, and screws into a nut embedded in the other side of the hinge. As the screw was being tightened, the nut popped off the other side of the hinge. No way to fix it, so we had to order a new hinge. It makes me wonder if the second hinge, or the replacement hinge, will fail over time. Overall it's a very nice product, but not if the hinges fail. Such a shame to have one big weakness in an otherwise excellent product.

We installed this shower ourselves, if your walls and floor aren't level the door won't shut. Be careful. The seals around the door seem flimsy, but we haven't had any leak issues yet. The shower looks great. I wish there was some kind of magnet closure on the door, but other than that no problems.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rm57 Not what I expected from a reputable company like Kohler
Poor quality very flimsy. Had to add more furring strips to strengthen the panels. Base got scratched when trying to adjust side glass panels. I should have bought a one piece enclosure and the door is barely held closed by friction. Very disappointing. Even the professional installer said never again.

Had my contractor purchase/install this shower, they had to install extra support for the back but seemed to go in ok. Then a few months later it leaks out of a corner and that has caused our flooring to start coming and who knows what has happened to the wood underneath. I have to re-caulk it every few months because it flexes and breaks the seal... the seals along the door have also started cracking along the bottom and the open side of the door. Thought it would be a decent shower but not very solid, the whole thing moves every time you open the door. I would love to return but I am in the navy and my ship was gone for so long it has now been a while since installed, in addition to that the purchase was under the contractors name, biggest waste of money!!!

Had this shower for a few years. Base is cracked, has anyone else had issues with the base?
Looking at purchasing another neo angle but maybe I should try a different make.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Superior replacement corner shower
As a replacement for the leaky, cracked lower end neo unit installed by the previous house owners, this is a great improvement. It is a littler roomer than many, very sturdy, and with a great door system — far heavier, better sealed and attractive than other makers'. This was well worth the $300 upgrade from the basic units. The two wall pieces seemed a little thin to me and I had the contractor put in rock board first, just to ease my mind. We're very happy with this shower.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Zach Great look! Solid product
We were set on a neo angle shower due to the layout of our new basement bath and went with the Sterling because we had good luck in the past. When I removed the walls and base from the box I thought oh boy! Super light and flimsy like other reviews stated. The glass doors on the other hand were very heavy and solid. But once the walls were in place and attached to the studs it stiffened up good.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by hugh Flimsy walls and floor, given the price.
This unit costs nearly three times what others did, yet the walls bend very easily and the base is set in styrofoam.
