Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike great new grill
I've had this grill for 7 days and have cooked on it 5 days, even in the rain. This is a great step up from my Smokey Joe. The interchangeable grill inserts are what sold me. I have the wok, the griddle, and the vegetable tray(in addition to the included pizza stone). The charcoal chimney makes it simple to have two different heat zones, or one large zone if I choose. The starter/ash can makes short work of the before and after coal duties. I use either scrunched up plain paper towels sprayed with vegetable oil, or one single starter cube and have coals ready to cook in 15 or 20 minutes with no lighter fluid. Bacon on the center skillet, chicken breasts on the outer ring, swap the skillet for the center grill and go with burgers- all with one small load of charcoal. yum! very satisfied with this grill!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Easy to light without lighter fuel
The grill got to house I was told and it was easy to put together it took a little over a hour. I had a gas grill for over 20 years because of the ease of lighting it. But this stok is as easy as the gas. Love the grill. !!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by chase Good grill.
The pieces of the gril fit together very poorly. I had to use some wire to essentially tie part of the base together. The lid doesn't fit perfectly, and the pizza stone was broken and Home Depot was unable to replace it. All that being said, it grills well. The built in chimney is effective, the grill heats quickly, it is easy to clean up ashes (though again, those parts don't fit quite right). I like that the chimney allows me to use a little charcoal, or a grill full, based on my needs. I have only used it for grilling, but it does hold heat well, so I may try smoking ribs at some point. It is a good grill based on the size and price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Juan Much better than other charcoal grills I've used
I've used Charcoal grills quite extensively over the last 3.5 years and find their results far superior to propane. I had owned a charcoal grill, starts with "W" ends in "r" and found this grill to be much better AND for a way better price. The quality of the construction in my grill has been great. The stainless steel grill frame and porcelain-coated cast iron cooking grates are so much better then the thin wire ones you get from other manufacturers. The temperature gauge has been very helpful. I used my previous grill close to 100 times and I find this one to be a lot better for a lower price. I would purchase this over other charcoal grills.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by fisherfrk Looks nice, but buy a Weber
I would strongly recommend against purchasing as Stok Tower grill.
1. They look cool.
2. They appear to built sturdy.
3. The grill top is very nice, cast iron.
1. Lousy customer service, if you need parts the factory has no time for you.
2. The plastic parts (the handle, the grill insert lifter) are very weak. I dropped the grill top and the handle exploded (scores of pieces all over the porch). I lifted the grill with the included grill lifter and the plastic handle broke in my hand. These problems occured at 2 yes 2 uses.
3. enamel paint is very brittle and can not be repaired.
Save yourself the trouble and buy a 22.5" weber.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Sean Great concept, POOR QUALITY
I purchased this grill instead of what I thought were the overpriced alternatives. Turns out you get what you pay for.
The grill is solid and cooks perfectly and looks cool... Unfortunately the screws are NOT stainless and will rust, as mine started to do. Also the porcilin around the firebox handle began to crack.... all this in less than a month.
Two weeks after purchasing this grill i had to return it. screws rusting and porcelin cracking. The insert system was neat and very effective and practical, but the quality just isnt there.
If the porcilin coating was thicker and screws were stainless or galvanized, this would be a SUPER NICE GRILL!!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer The Best - bought two one for me one as a gift
Love this grill bought one for myself and another as a birthday present almost 2 years ago. Both households use this grill regularly. Very easy to use, clean and we love the accessories. Very efficient grill gets rocket hot - best pizza ever. Great steaks, burgers, tri-tip, chicken, fajitas, vegetable kabobs, onions lolipops and pineapple everytime and my prior experience grilling was very limited. Purchased for my nephew because he like me is learning to grill and he has just become the grill master. I wish Home Depot would keep this grill and the inserts in stock. There are still many people who prefer charcoal to gas grills.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by F3X1 Good Grill........
Went shopping at HD for a Weber and saw a Stok floor model and looked it over side by side with the Weber Gold.
Steel gauge is the same, base is sturdier, it will work with Weber 22.5 accessories. Cast grill is nice. Insert feature is neat.
One difference worth noting. The Charcoal grate (lower one) is the size of the Weber 18". So less coal area as the Stoke tapers more than the Weber 22.5.
Sign me up for a Stok Island style CHARCOAL Grill!! STOK are you listening?
Happy so far!
PS. Assembly was EZ. 30 min max w/beer. If you can't finish under 1 hour than you should probably not be allowed to play with fire :-)
