I bought this for my 2 month old kitten. Clearly, kittens can climb, and I didn't think of that when this purchased. As you can see from the pic, she easily climbed over it. Now, on to plan B.
Also, this gate wasn't long or tall enough. It also didn't fit easily within the door frame as it kept falling.

It's a gate... not a great gate, not a fancy gate, or an expensive gate. However it works just fine for what I needed it to do. Block the stairs so my Lab would not go up or down. Blocked doorways that I did not what entered.

Part of the gate came apart, where the plastic grate should be set into the wood.

I bought 3 of these gates about 8 years ago to manage where my 12 lb dachshund could and go not go within my apartment, Over the years I have used them between 2 walls to block off a hallway, in a doorway and across part of my small kitchen. They work very well but you do want to mark off your notch and reinforce it with a piece of duct tape. I figured this out after I had to throw one away because I broke the primary notch, I think that's pretty good for inexpensive gates that are sturdy. If you need a cheap adjustable gate for use with a small dog I recommend this one, and if you mark and reinforce the primary spokes it will last a very long time. Not exactly decorator but who cares ;)

I really wanted a beer fridge for my high end bottles of craft beer. But such a thing doesn't really exist. So I went with this after seeing some pretty favorable reviews. Here are my main problems with the unit:
Cons: 1) Cooling. If the ambient temperature in the room you have the unit placed is above 70-72, it has problems getting below 50 sometimes even below 55. The lowest setting is 44. Some of my craft beers would be best served below 40. So that's just impossible with this unit. And I live in South Florida so consistent ambient temperature of 70-72 is just impossible without an electric bill that is insane. Even if you have that ambient temperature the other problem is if you have anything more than 6-7 bottles in a side it also struggles getting below 50. 2) Size. The shelves are kind of small for a lot of bottles (not just my beer but wine also). So in a lot of cases you are going to have to take a row out to accommodate. But even worse the rack the bottles rest on is pretty narrow also so if it makes it height wise it may still have to much width to go in well.
Pros: relatively cheap. Not very loud. If only need temps 50+ and/or don't live in a warmer climate, this is probably a great unit for you.
Summary: If you want to keep 12 to a side and/or live in a warmer climate you should probably continue your search. I'm just going to make do with mine for now.
