Zip ties are cheap and work 100%.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incomplete "Product may vary by store" At least they're honest. Mine didn't contain screws or these mounting pads they speak of. Only a 1 star because I can't give it zero.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to install, many broke within a day With four screws required per latch, and pre-drilling for each screw, the installation was difficult. Worse is that the latches themselves are incredibly fragile. They broke within a day on the three drawers on which they were installed, and broke in two different places (both the lip that catches the latch, and the neck). After two hours of drilling and installing two days ago, they are now all in the trash and I have to look elsewhere...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They work and dont break if installed right. Contrary to many others that have reviewed these, they work and dont break if installed right. We have had these installed on mulitple cabinets (3 packs worth now) and have not had any break. We have had to re-adjust mutiple times to get them working right. They have to be aligned just right, within a fraction of a milimeter. Still our toddler needs supervision around them, an accident or determination can still open them. Bur all in all not bad. Only complaint is there is no template to install them, which would make the difficult job a bit easier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of installation time. What a colossal disappointment. Maybe my family has Hulk blood and we don't know our own strength, but my 13 month old just destroyed these things. They didn't deter him at all. The plastic is cheaper than dollar store snacks, so they break easily. Very easily. They truly aren't worth the time it took to open the package. I'm not sure what a good alternative is, but anything is better. Hire a body guard. Get some rubber bands. Glue your cabinets shut and just live without your bowls and plates for a year. Just don't waste your money on these things.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Length too short The latches are too small! The length on these are a joke; you cannot fit your hand in drawer to unlatch or even a babies hand. Couldn't open drawer once installed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Completely USELESS! Break in casual use right after installation. I bought a pack of 7 and the first one broke the first time I used the drawer after I tested it to make sure it was adequately installed. The problem is the "hook" that latches on the catch is so fragile that it an adult can snap it off without even knowing it was there. I don't think you can count on these even keeping a strong toddler out. I installed a second one on the same drawer thinking maybe the first one was an anomaly. It was not. My wife broke it off the same way the first time she opened the drawer.
