I just unpacked this respirator, adjusted the straps and added the cartridges, and it passed the draw-and-clear test so it has a good seal to my feminine little head. Here's how you draw-and-clear: put your assembled mask on, expel your breath and cover the cartridges with your palms. Breathe in. If the soft parts of your mask collapse and you can't finish drawing that breath, then you have a good seal. If this isn't what happens, then you need to make some adjustments and try again. ALWAYS do this every time you put your mask on! Good luck with the home improvements and be safe. :) Read Less

Answer:
Yes there is plenty of adjustment. Ive got an little larger than average head and my straps are set pretty much there. Would Not recommend for small children but if your head is bigger than that if will snug down. With any mask though the only way to be sure is do dawn and clear in a safe environment first.

Answer:
Yes getting the mask on is only a little trickier. Once on it doesn't affect the fit. I haven't worn mine long term with specs so I cant comment on comfort. Getting it off without dropping your glasses is luck so do so where they wont fall and get damaged, or loosen the mask straps as far as you can before you remove it.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good to go The quality and effectiveness of this mask cannot be overstated. While it is expensive to the average homeowner, you definitely get what you pay for. I used this while cleaning out the basement of a rental property I purchased that hadn't been touched in about 50 years. Dust from termite damage, cellulose insulation, and ash from a derelict furnace had created a choking cloud of particles and this mask filtered it all! The only drawback is that it wouldn't fit over my glasses. Other than that it worked like a champ. October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great full face respirator! I use mine to offset the bad allergies I have. I use it primarily while mowing/edging my two acres, & it works great! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is slightly difficult to breathe with IF you are doing STRENUOUS work October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bar none Best respirator for beards. Used off and on for several months for different tasks. Hazmat sanding, Painting, Insecticide spraying, working in contaminated crawlspaces. Was very impressed until last week when I had to wear it for 4 hours with only one break to dawn and clear again. Then I realized it was hands down the best mask I had ever used. Comfortable as a mask can be, seals even with a long beard, easy to breath through even after long stretches. Most importantly it doesn't fog up. Just a little poof when you exhale that vanishes when you inhale again. Not enough to obscure your vision and doesn't gradually fog you out all together. You are made of water and every mask forces you out eventually but I haven't made it there with this one yet. Cant say how well it filters particulates other than that insecticides that smell horrid for hours after they say its safe to return are unnoticeable while spraying under this hood February 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good general purpose face protection Provides good face protection especially when used with head sock August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb mask I bought this mask mostly for painting in my garage. I was concerned about the one size fits all but it seals perfectly. Normally, i wear a large. Love that it protects the eyes as many people arent aware of eye saturation with chemical fumes. June 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Yes, this Respirator works but it does fog over time Performed well in a pretty bad crawlspace. You will need to come out every 1/2 hour or so and wipe any accumulated moisture from the inside of mask. After 3-4 hours of work my filters were pretty well clogged up and wiping the moisture from inside of mask is not good enough and the cartridges then need to be replaced. I thought i better write a review since most reviews are from people who think they know what they're talking about and who think that they're opinion is oh so important. January 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed! I was cutting cement block with a diamond tipped circular saw blade and creating clouds of dust. Ordinary eye goggles and nose/mouth filters were letting the fine cementitious dust in -- especially to my eyes. Worried by the carcinogenic reputation of cement dust, I needed to find a proper respirator that created a seal around my face to stop the darn dust getting in and making my eyes itch. This respirator really does the job admirably. I had to wait a week for it to arrive in Arizona from Maryland. But is was worth the delay. February 25, 2014
