Answer:
The color "hinoki" is a shade of cypress wood. It's a medium oak with some dusky rose added. Almost a red oak.

Advertisement states "Energy Star Certified" yet I could not find this fan listed on the EPA website using the information stated.

Please provide the watts used at the three different speeds.

Thank you,

Richard

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful dark fan with lovely character. Beautiful Dark fan, with a nice chain pull and frosted lamps. I hired someone to install, but that is just me. I use it on the 1st or 2nd speed for a light breeze. The 3rd speed, I would need to balance it a bit better as a there is a slight wobble. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pleased This is the third Charleston 52 I've purchased. They're quiet, economical (that was very important to me), and they move a good amount of air. The construction seems sturdy. No problems with installation. I haven't had to balance any of my fans, they've come balanced. May 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and very quiet Very good quality, quiet, easy to install, very attractive ceiling fan; I bought two of them. I didn't install a lighting option on either fan and don't need or want the second pull string for lighting operation but there doesn't appear to be a way to remove/eliminate it. December 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great fan for the price This fan is very attractive and seems to be a great value for the price. It is on 24 hours a day in a conference room and is very quiet and moves the air just as it should. Highly recommend. July 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan Great fan for the price and very easy to install by myself. Highly recommended. September 18, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Fan This fan is very attractive and my husband didn't have any problems installing it. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the fan and light pulls that were included are a plain very light wood, not matching the color theme of the fan at all. We bought new pulls at Home Depot that match much better. The second thing is that there is no wire mesh covering the housing unit, so bugs and things will fall and collect inside (maybe shortening the life of the motor?) December 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent basic fan--looks great! The fan was installed by an electrician because of wiring issues, so can't speak to how easy or difficult it would be for a lay person to do. The fan had all of it's part's and looks great. The only minus to it's looks is that the two "colors" are the same--there is no difference in tone of the fan blades. It runs smoothly and moves lots of air in our 14'x25' room. It'd certainly purchase it again! September 11, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Came in two plain cardboard boxes; not sure if it was a re-package or what I've installed several ceiling fans and this one was unnecessarily difficult. Instructions were terrible. June 25, 2013
