Answer:
Buy screen frame corners, in the same aisle as the screen frame. Very cheap and easy to install. No mitering necessary!

How do I attach the frame into the wall?

I was wondering if there is a certain way in which this has to be done or if there is another piece that I can buy to attach the frame in the wall. I can't screw the frame directly because I won't be able to put the fiberglass screen with the spline.

Frame retention clips are available. The ones I have in use are several years old, so you would have to research for a supply...

Once I've built the screen frames and installed the fabric, how is it retained in the window frame? The existing screen frames had little pins to aid in retention and I've seen 'spring clips' in other window brands. Are there clips available for this?

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by could have been better I needed to replace a screen for my Malta window which would have cost me around $50.00. This saved me almost $40.00. Not very sturdy; but once I place it in my window it should be fine. April 8, 2015
