Thanks for the question. The SMH1622S does not have a rack. If you'd prefer a model that does have one, you may want to consider one with a larger interior capacity, such as the 1.8 cubic foot SMH1816S or larger.

it can be vented into the room. the installers directed the air flow back into the kitchen so steam would not accumulate below the cabinets. instead it is redirected up and away from the microwave.

Thanks for your interest. The handle on the SMH1622S Over The Range Microwave is black. If you prefer for the handle to match the stainless steel door, rather than complement the black accents, you may want to consider the SMH1713S; the handle on this model is painted to match the stainless steel.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by door handle broke bought it about 2 years ago, the door handle broke and company will not send me a new handle. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VERY Happy!! I spent weeks reading reviews and decided to purchase this Samsung based on the fact that the microwave was easy to use, install, and fingerprints wipe right off (according to some). When I received the unit, I found it VERY easy to install, (not to mention I am an Electrician and have done it 100's of times). but for the size it was relatively light and the directions for use is very simple. Of course, during the install, I had fingerprints all over the front.. and WOW... and little soap and water and GONE!! I love this Microwave!!! December 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price I've had this now for about a week and it heats very quickly! Looks great. I do wish the light underneath was brighter, it's kind of dim. It also starts out pretty loudly and then sounds normal after the first couple of seconds. I'm not sure if that's normal or not? Overall I'm very happy with the microwave and the price was right. February 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Inexpensive Microwave Looked at plenty of microwaves and finally settled on this one. Arrived in great condition, even fit the mounting bracket and footprint of my old microwave making it that much easier to install. Works well and the default settings are good. My only complaint is sometimes the time is hard to read farther away. August 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great microwave at a great price! We were looking for a smaller stainless steel microwave to fit a tight space and this fit the bill. Nothing fancy - but does the job. Also paid the extra $38 to have it installed and old one hauled away. They had it in and working in under 10 minutes. July 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent design! Blue is much more captivating than a green led display. This is a real nice design and the blue instead of green LED Display is a lot more captivating. freed up a lot of counter space where the old microwave used to be and makes the kitchen look so much more spacious. The only con is the instructions for installation need to be more detailed. Other than that I love it! July 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great microwave at a super price. This microwave was replacing a white one we previously had. Same power and most features and the right size so it worked out great. Would have preferred a stainless handle as opposed to black but is was a super price though. Only feature it doesn't have that my last one did was a quick 1 thru 5 minute cook one touch button that I do miss. Also unless I'm not figuring this out properly, if I have the kitchen timer going I can't cook. I have to cancel it. It doesn't seem to run independently from the cooking function which is annoying and kind of unbelievable. December 10, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RUN!!! Even though the Samsung fridge (that we bought first) needed repaired within a yr. we decided to get the matching micro and range due to a good sale. It looks nice and all the bells and whistles are nice if you use them, but the first thing we noticed is how loud it was. Then it just randomly started making this zapping noise, but it was never consistant enough to diagnose it. Now after 2 yrs , it just started zapping away every time you turn it on and won't stop. It smells like something is burning. No one in our area will even touch a Samsung product to repair it and of course it is out of warranty. The range is the only one left and the light keeps blinking on and off in it for no reason (new bulb). Evidently Samsung has some electrical issues, and they don't care one tiny bit about customer service. If it says Samsung, I would look the other way !!!! October 23, 2014
