I like the interior of this unit, very easy cleaning. Exhaust fan works great with 4 speeds. Lighting is sufficient. Not as many quick shortcut buttons as some but workable. Do not use the manuals that come with it, they may not apply to this model, mine did not. Download them. Pay attention to the template, especially the upper one, it is designed to go up underneath the cabinet not on the inside of the cabinet. You will not have correct hole alignment, makes it a pain in the butt if you have an oven in place, but just the way it is. It could have a nicer exterior surface as I can see it will probably scratch pretty easy. Looks good and functions well though. Watch your times, you will need to decrease them from what you normally used as it is pretty powerful. Register it at Samsung online so you get the extra 3 months of added warranty coverage.

When my old microwave finally died, I purchased this Samsung and I could not be happier ! It is very easy to use, can hold large containers and fits nicely over my range. I did a lot of research before buying this unit. The decision was based on the features of this unit and the great reputation that Samsung has for quality. I have a Samsung LED TV and I am very pleased with it as well.

Got this as an early Christmas present to replace a 10+ year-old Amana Radarange. My brother, father and I were easily able to install this unit (it was useful to have all three of us, but two could do it). Love so many of the features, especially the sensor-cooking technology that this machine offers (who knew you could have a machine soften butter without melting it!). Even something as simple as the Kitchen Timer that continues to countdown in the background while you cook is a very convenient step-up from what we were used to. The baked-enamel interior is incredibly easy to clean.
The only feature we gave up: Our old unit had 1-touch cooking on buttons 1-5 that would instantly start the number of minutes pressed. This unit does have a "+30 second" button which helps, and you can immediately start touching keys to enter a cook time, so it's not that big of a deal, just something that could very easily have been included.
Also want to mention the delivery guys...great job removing the old unit, unpacking the new one and taking away all the big packaging. They agreed to test the unit before they left which I asked for, but they did not offer...this was recommended in the order confirmation.
Overall very happy with this new addition to our kitchen. It's only been in use since just before Thanksgiving, but it has exceeded our expectations.

We purchased a full suite of Samsung products for our kitchen remodel. Our microwave is the SMH1926S. Right out of the box it would make a loud vibrating noise at about 3 minutes in to a longer cycle. The appliance repair man diagnosed the issue as a bad transformer and possible bad magnetron. He ordered the new parts. 2 weeks later he came back and replaced these two parts. Once done he turned on the microwave and it immediately died. This time he took it to the shop over Thanksgiving. About three weeks later he returned and the microwave was working. Unfortunately they dented the door and scratched the control panel. They agreed to replace. Two weeks later the repair man came with a new door and a replacement stainless overlay for the control panel. He found that to rip the stainless cover off and re-glue it would be time consuming and probably not be successful. He left and ordered the part. The part is not available. So the repair man is coming back with a tube of glue I guess. In the mean time the microwave made a sparking noise and a burning smell. Looks like when he removed the control panel and then replaced it the wires were not all connected correctly. Ask yourself would you really want to go through this? 4 months of no microwave? We have a $39 unit on the counter that works fine. I never really expected a microwave issue. Never had a bad microwave in the last 35 years. Please read all of the feedback before making a decision about Samsung microwaves. UPDATE February 3, 2014: Repairman returned and successfully replaced stainless skin around control panel. The sparking sound turned out to be a defective transformer. Some how the transformer that was a new replacement of the original repair which started the first of October had burned through the connecting wires to the capacitor. Repairman had no idea why this would occur. The wires had burned off the protective coating and were sparking across each other. Repair company is ordering another transformer. This defect is highly suspicious as I doubt that I could have the only defective transformer. Thank you. Update March 4th, repairman came with a replacement transformer and installed. Now the microwave works BUT this transformer buzzes loudly like the one from the initial repair last October. So after 6 months of trying to repair this microwave we are right back at the beginning again. The part that the repairman brought out had a bent base from being dropped along the way from Samsung. Perhaps that is why it does not work right? So far we have had the microwave installed for 7 months and working for less than one of those months. Also this means that we have no range hood ventilation all this time. By the way if you might like to rely on the 3 repairs and you get a replacement warranty well the way that works is that this entire 6 months is considered the first repair. 30 days has to go by before a repair is considered new. That does not include the waiting for the parts either.
