Quality Samsung fridge!! Looked at several products and this one stood out above the others. Very satisfied with Samsung products as well as with Home Depot. Great features and a lot of space.

Do not buy any Samsung. I purchased Samsung refrigerator in 2012 and it was the worse purchase I made with my house remodel. Short version is our floors are ruined and we are out $400 for a water filter housing replacement. They are no help or use in this situation and so I am making sure no one else makes same mistake. Walk away and do your research.

This fridge seems good enough. Seems kind of prone to picking up funky smells, but baking soda or coffee helps. I was initially incredibly happy with the purchasing and delivery process. That said, after a week- the handle came off - I was unable to fix myself and it took me many phone calls to get the installation company back out to fix it. I've also been unsuccessful after multiple attempts to reach a live human being at home depot to get some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and the time investment I've had to make in rectifying the issue.

Overall, this refrigerator is easy to use, efficient, holds temperature well and has a very handy fourth door. We use the 4th door every day to get milk and cream. The LED lights make the interior bright. Compared to a side by side box, this one allows you to see everything and keeps food fresh.
Unfortunately, the ice maker is in the refrigerator. This particular ice maker takes a great deal of space and SLOWLY disperses ice. We had ours for 18 months and had numerous repairs on the ice maker. Finally, Home Depot, gave up trying to fix it and paid us. I'm really sorry and don't know what model we are going to get to replace our box. Home Depot's extended warranty service was great. I wish I could get this model with water, but no ice maker!
It is a bit of a pain to change the water filter, too, as Samsung wants you to turn the water off to the frig. What a pain! We change ours and just try to do it quickly. It's also hard to find the filter. I finally got one from one of the repair men who came to fix the ice maker. Don't try an after market brand of filter, as they don't seem to work.

Bought this counter depth fridge through Home Depot. Delivery people almost failed to do the delivery because they claimed that Home Depot promised they would do things they do not do.
The fridge works ok, but so far, after 24 hours, the ice maker has formed a total of 6 small ice cubes. We called Samsung and they told us to wait a little longer. I read elsewhere that the ice making capacity of this unit is poor. As of today, I agree.
The E-Smart feature is complex and does not work.

This replaced a dodgy, ten-year-old Electrolux side-by-side that had really run its course for our growing family, and it is BEAUTIFUL. The design, the fit-and-finish, the space, the controls, all gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. I can't tell yet if the display case door is a great idea or just a gimmick, but at the very least it makes my guests go "oooooooooh," so I suppose it was worth the extra 200 bucks I paid for it. Long story short-- I'm quite happy with this purchase, EXCEPT...
...the ICE MAKER.
A) always be suspicious of an ICE maker that goes in the REFRIGERATOR compartment
B) the french door design of this means that the ice maker HAS to be unnaturally small, and
C) the design of the ice maker itself is unnecessarily complicated. This is not a new technology, people! What's up with the "reset" button? What ice maker needs a reset button??? This one does, and that's just...weird.
Make a long story short, my dodgy Electrolux, which is now in the hundred-degree garage, still makes better, and more, ice than this thing, and I find myself going to it for ice, all the time.
This fridge is 90% there and, overall, I'm glad I bought it, and you will be, too. But if you find yourself needing a lot of ice, you might want to buy it in bags.

It took a little getting used to the fact I had the double door but I love it. I have not had any problems with it and I have had it a year so far. the only thing is I wish it made more ice.
