After our more than a decade old Whirlpool fridge gave out, we decided to use the opportunity to upgrade to a modern fridge and wanted to go with a french door style. After an extended search we settled for this Samsung unit, which was also happened to be on sale. The unit was delivered and installed by Home Depot. So far, we are loving this unit. It offers plenty of space and despite what some reviewers have stated, it is not as loud as they claim. It is a machine people, so naturally they'll be some noise when it runs it jobs. Highly recommend this model. We have no regrets.

Refrigerator cooled rapidly on startup; maintained temp. very well; has excellent flexibility for storage; freezer and ice maker are excellent; and connection was easy. My only complaint is the water dispenser limits the collection to drinking glasses. You cannot put a pan for filling unless you use two hands and allow the stream to fall at least 6-8" where you can get spillage. Also, dispensed water is not cold.

Purchased for my daughter and she loves it. There is plenty of storage space and the separate chill drawer is perfect.

This unit is always making some kind of noise, i.e. gurgling, ticking or a very loud pop. Samsung doesn't stand behind their products and doesn't care that I'm unhappy. This unit is a LEMON. It has made various noises from day one. I have done all I can to deal with this issue. Bottom line the tech couldn't hear the loud pop so there is nothing wrong with the refrigerator. Again DON'T BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR, YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Kudos to Home Depot. I chose to purchase from Home Depot because of the glowing reviews of their extended warranty and competitive prices. This refrigerator was on sale for $600 less than any competitor locally. The unit was delivered on time and by a professional crew. The removal of my old unit was very reasonable and very convenient. The refrigerator had a faulty temperature sensor that didn't allow the fresh food section to cool below 40 degrees from day one. Samsung authorized a repair immediately and within a week the unit was repaired. I was greatly concerned about the reports of odd/strange loud noises other Samsung owners have experienced. To my delight I have not had the same experience! The occasional groan but nothing different than every other refrigerator. Good product, fantastic price and Home Depot's extended warranty is by far the best I've seen.

I doubt all the positive reviewers have checked their refrigerator temps with a temperature gauge. And I doubt they realize that the temp they see on the display is the set temperature, not the temperature inside. If they did put a temp gauge inside, they would be horrified to see that even if they set the fridge to 34F, the inside temp regularly stays around 41F, and even goes up to 55F with the fridge turning on and cooling too late. Meanwhile, all the food inside is rotting away. I exchanged the fridge for another one after I discovered it was not cooling properly. And the exchanged fridge has the same exact behavior. Temps regularly stay around 40's, even if I set the temp to 34F. The display doesn't show the temp inside, only set temp. The lowest both fridges went down to is 37F, that is it, no lower. This entire line of Samsung fridges are either flawed or I got two bad ones. Now I'm trying to decide to do another exchange or just return it. This is my last Samsung fridge purchase.
