Nice styling, basic features, and quiet! Keeps freezer well below freezing point and refrigerator just above freezing. LED lighting a hidden hinges a nice touch. Stainless steel doors will allow use of those refrigerator magnets (for those that like to add that personal touch). As mentioned in other reviews, there is a slight frost buildup between the bottom of the ice maker and the top of the ice shoot in the freezer door. No biggy, just use a hot sponge or towel to melt and remove the frost (reason for giving 4 stars).

Unfortunately, this fridge has been a big disappointment. The ice dispenser and light in the freezer did not work on day one. After many frustrating calls with Samsung "customer service" and subsequent service appointment, both were fixed. Within days, the ice "chute" within the freezer began to accumulate frost build-up. The service person determined that the chute flap was defective and replaced it only to discover that the replaced part was worse than the original. He then ordered a new freezer door. We just got word that the doors are on back order and may take months to arrive. We are starting the refund process and will not buy another Samsung.

I purchased the entire Samsung Kitchen suite during the July 4 sale.
This fridge does its job and it looks great, got a lot of compliments on it by family and friends. The blue LED panel is a nice touch. I haven't owned this long so I don't know about the long term value but my initial impression is that it's a very nice refrigerator.

I wrote a review about the little things that were good and bad about this fridge. But the most important thing is that I am on my second service call in 6 months for the same issue- freezer just stops working.
It is the control panel which is about the cheapest piece of plastic I have seen on any major appliance.
On the plus side, the door holds two gallons of milk, and it has the awesome snack drawer.
Freezer only has 1 drawer at the bottom. I didn't think that was going to be a big deal, but we use a lot of frozen berries and vegetables. I just put in a couple of baskets from the dollar store, but it is wasted space. Freezer does have a place that holds frozen pizzas & that is great.
Next time I'll pay more for a better brand.

The water/ice dispenser panel has a really cool sleek design and the touch feature is super cool! i love the "door open" alarm. the fridge works well, as well as any other. the ice maker makes a lot of noise! and doesn't dispense very quickly, ice goes everywhere if you try to crush it. but if you are patient you can get the hang of it and learn to contain it a bit.

The appliance provides every feature that I could want in a side-by-side unit and performs well. Finding the included filter was an added benefit.

I am awaiting my 4th warranty service call in less than a year. Initially the condenser vibrated continuously and noisily. Before originating a repair order the young lady on the phone put me through the mill having me run tests (remove and empty ice-maker, reducing water pressure, isolating noise, ensuring unit was level) which were futile and which involved moving the entire refrigerator...I'm 67...this was no joke. They finally sent a repairman who said noise was due a hose rubbing the frame and fixed it. Not 2 days after it started again, I called and they again tried to get me to go through their checklist which I refused to do. The 2nd repairman (without saying the 1st guy blew it) said he fixed the vibrating noise for good. It still make a bit of noise but not too bad. One day shortly thereafter while dispensing ice, the unit made a sound like gears were mashing (a grinding transmission). Again a call to Samsung and again they put me through a ringer of tests and checks involving getting behind the unit. Finally a repairman was sent. He said that it was the water feed hose slapping against the back of the refrigerator. I ask why it started months after the purchase and he said it was probably an increase in water pressure. He also said I purchased an inferior (lightweight) feed hose with the unit and that I should buy a better (heavier)one. I never heard of such a thing. He lowered my water pressure to the feed line and the noise ceased. He told me that if the noise came back, I should get behind the refer and lower the water pressure more. The noise kept returning and I've lowered the pressure to the point I can barely get a glass of water dispensed. If the noise starts in the middle of the night it sounds like someone is breaking in. Now I'm waiting for another repair attempt next week...my warranty expires in less than two weeks...I'm sorry I bought the unit and even sorrier I did not get the extended warranty. Hopefully I can still get an extended warranty from Home Depot.

Purchased this frig in June and took a dump in December! Samsung took two weeks to get a technician out to look and determined the compressor was bad. Took another week to get a new compressor only to find out there is a coolant leak inside the frig. No call backs from Samsung, had to keep after them and its a month later with no frig and no refund. Terrible product, terrible customer service. Save your Money!!!
